-the body is producing to much testosterone that is being converted into DHT
-Or some other type of imbalance is causing excess DHT

I am in the exact same boat as you guys except no propecia for my hair loss I also have gynecomastia and I am awaiting my hormone test to see if there is an underlying cause.
t know what to do.. should I try Monday Wednesday Friday propecia? I heard there is a 5mg propecia pill you can take once a week.. can that keep my ED at bay maybe? Can once a week maybe twice propecia keep my hair but my ED away? I don't get why this is happening to me now.. But what if that starts up my ED again.. what if that ruins the recovery I've been making off the pill.. I don't want permanent ED.. I'm only 22.. I don't want to lose my hair either..

s gynecomastia for sure because fat deposits are symmetric. Gynecomastia can often be unilateral. You probably have "permanent" gyneomastia on that side. Surgical excision is the only remedy I am familiar with for that. If occurring due to a particular medication or frequent pot use, cessation of that agent may possibly reduce it (at least reduce the tenderness part).
A lump under the nipple of a young boy is most likely gynecomastia, which is common in boys around the age of puberty and is usually temporary.
Help. My wife accidentally took propecia (3 mgs over 2 days) thinking it was something else. We are planning on having kids soon. Can there be consequences to a future pregnancy from this mistake? How long will the propecia stay in her body?
m on propecia...however, my doctor (being pretty cool), prescribed me 5mg Finasteride (i.e. Propecia). I split the pills in half, which is pretty close to the dosage for Propecia. The bottle lasts me two months, and costs me $5 because finasteride is covered on my insurance. I'm 28 years old, soooo....the insurance company DID need my doctor to verify the prescription. But like I said, he is cool :) See if your doc will hook you up the same!
Hello! I am 25 year old male who looks like 15-17. I've had gynecomastia since i was 15 and also havent grown since that age. Tbh my body havent really changed at all. My bones didnt grow larger or increase of muscles though i trained alot and went through a mandatory 2 years of national service. I still look very young and feel very depressed because of this.I researched about this online and found about hypogonadism. Is that the case or am i suffering from something else?

If you truly have gynecomastia then the only thing that will help is surgery. My son had gynecomastia and he had surgery and looks great. If this is going to mess with your life, then have the surgery!
I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. Once my erection problems surfaced, I began looking for a solution. I do not want to stop taking Propecia because it has done wonders for my hair.
A surgical consult would be best to sort out what exactly you are dealing with. Doesn't sound like gynecomastia to me. With gynecomastia you will present with full breast tissue just like a woman, not a lump.
I am a 26 year old male that suffers from Gynecomastia. I have had this issue pretty much all my life but I am sick of trying to hide it. I am not overweight infact I regulary excersize and go to the gym but nothing seems to work. Its not because of any prescription drugs because my brother suffers from it also. I was wondering if the Gynecomastia pills can reduce this. The surgery is quite expensive and I would like to avoid it if possible.
About three months ago I started taking propecia because I thought my hair was falling out too young. I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. I stopped taking propecia within 3 weeks due to an inability to deal with these side effects. Things seemed to be slowly getting slightly better as the weeks and months progressed however now some new issues have been arising.

From the age of 11 i am suffering from gynecomastia (chest is like a woman). My parents are not educated and they don't know anything about that and they thought it was due to i am fatty for that age than other children of same age. I have been recently been diagnosed with an enlarged breast bud or possible gynecomastia pending a hormone test that is only on the left side. I took a blood test and I am waiting for the results. It is testing my random testosterone, cortisol, estradiol, dhea levels and my hepatic profile. I have no problems with my testicles no lump, pain, swelling, heavy feeling nothing, except above my left testicle the vein is more pronounced.Kind of feels like a "bag of worms".
I have been taking Propecia since 2.5 years at variable doses(0.25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
Late last year, I grew concerned that I had developed Gynecomastia. Concerned it could be my liver, I went to a gastroenterologist/Hepatologist who looked at my blood tests (all normal) and a recent ct scan (liver remarked as normal). He put my mind at ease. After doing a physical, he said not to worry.
Fast forward 4 months: The blood work is still normal but I am in the hospital for very frightening changes to my mental state.
I lowered the dose when I developed gynecomastia (breast tissue). Avodart has a long half life. Will it still work to help my benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)? I have been taking Avodart for 5 years and it has been very helpful.
Slight gynecomastia, fit and healthy and its noticeable. I visited the doctor about lumps behind the nipples, and got ignored basically. I would like to go again, but am afraid i will be treated the same way. Is there anything i can demand, or can i bypass the GP and see a specialist?
