Gilead Sciences' hepatitis C drugs, Sovaldi and Harvoni, will get exclusive coverage on several plans from CVS/Caremark, the pharmacy benefits manager said Monday, taking the opposite stance from competitor Express Scripts.
Gilead shares spiked on the news Monday, driving up the entire biotech sector.
“Women who are or may potentially be pregnant must not use PROPECIA and should not handle crushed or broken PROPECIA tablets because the active ingredient may cause abnormalities of a male baby's sex organs. If a woman who is pregnant comes into contact with the active ingredient in PROPECIA, a doctor should be consulted. PROPECIA tablets are coated and will prevent contact with the active ingredient during normal handling, provided that the tablets are not broken or crushed.

I took Propecia at age 26/27 and started having erection problems so I quit. About three years later I stopped getting nocturnal erections/morning erections. Now, at 36, I had my testosterone tested twice - one it was 235, the other time 434. I'm going to test a third time, but based on your story and my suspicions, I wonder if Propecia didn't do something permanent to our hormone levels and/or receptors.

I've been taking L'Arginine and L'Orthinine to enhance muscles growth after working out in the gym.
I'm also taking 1mg of Propecia due to a hair loss problem. Are there any side effects taking both at the same time? Is L'Arginine hindering the benefits of Propecia (like make me loose hair again)?

m on propecia...however, my doctor (being pretty cool), prescribed me 5mg Finasteride (i.e. Propecia). I split the pills in half, which is pretty close to the dosage for Propecia. The bottle lasts me two months, and costs me $5 because finasteride is covered on my insurance. I'm 28 years old, soooo....the insurance company DID need my doctor to verify the prescription. But like I said, he is cool :) See if your doc will hook you up the same!
I have been taking Propecia since 2.5 years at variable doses(0.25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
.yes they do devolve very well on their own &n it does not take them lonq, i started takin them orally &n vaqinally last week...im from Florida &n Walmart did not sell them here either, i did find them at both Walqreen's &n CVS tho...idk where yu live but here they cost more at Walqreen's &n CVS has them buy one qet one free.
I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. Once my erection problems surfaced, I began looking for a solution. I do not want to stop taking Propecia because it has done wonders for my hair.
About three months ago I started taking propecia because I thought my hair was falling out too young. I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. I stopped taking propecia within 3 weeks due to an inability to deal with these side effects. Like a lot of things, the answer is, "It depends." Did the person have testing done from tissue taken during a CVS procedure, or an amniocintesis? If so, it would be as accurate as a blood test for the baby. Did the person do a prenatal test from a blood draw from her arm and a blood test or swab from the guy? Then it would all depend on what lab was used.
The cost of a good prenatal DNA test is about $1600 to $2,000 dollars (US).
t have insurance, you can still go to one of those Doc in a Box places like they have in CVS drug stores or other minor emergency clinics that are little for profit clinics. It's unlikely that getting this checked and treated will cost you more than about $100, and you might save your eye.
