I've been on Finasteride (generic Propecia) for about 18 months. I have no problems with erections or ejaculation, however I don't really care to have sex. I'm 35 and just received a testosterone test with my levels coming in at a 269 (normal is @350). Perhaps I should stop taking it now...
CVS and Walgreens, for example, tend to use different generic manufacturers because CVS owns its own pharmacy benefits manager and therefore is much more restrictive on who they'll buy from. Because you should be able to special order the ones you had before if you know which manufacturer it was, assuming it's still available -- there's a lot of consolidation through mergers going on in the generic drug industry.
Some of these generic drugs from foreign countries are not pure. Some are not what they claim to be.

I was recommended to try the generic of Synthroid even though the fillers can change it anytime but was going to go with Cvs because they seem to be the best when it comes to generic. Synthroid was too strong for me and I don’t want the same reaction from the generic, I just can’t win this battle it seems.

A few months ago I started a generic paxil from CVS. It is a different manufacturer than the generic I have been taking for about 3 years from Walmart. Since I have been taking the generic from CVS I have been extremely tired in the afternoons and now I don't feel well every afternoon like clockwork. I only take 15 milligrams of a 20 milligram pill and have been cutting it down for 2 years to only 15.Is this happening because the depression is coming on and the paxil is pooping out.?
t know what to do.. should I try Monday Wednesday Friday propecia? I heard there is a 5mg propecia pill you can take once a week.. can that keep my ED at bay maybe? Can once a week maybe twice propecia keep my hair but my ED away? I don't get why this is happening to me now.. But what if that starts up my ED again.. what if that ruins the recovery I've been making off the pill.. I don't want permanent ED.. I'm only 22.. I don't want to lose my hair either..

You know I've taken the blue dye tests...it wasn't CVS but it was a generic EPT, and I've taken a generic FRER...most of my blue dye tests have come back with a "positive" but it was really BFN. I read somewhere online that after 5 min is when the blue dye tests can show an evap line, I really hope it is a true BFP for you faith! Try FRER in the morning with your FMU! SSSSSBD!!!
Help. My wife accidentally took propecia (3 mgs over 2 days) thinking it was something else. We are planning on having kids soon. Can there be consequences to a future pregnancy from this mistake? How long will the propecia stay in her body?
Ive just finished a generic brand of prenatal from cvs and i need to buy another supply, but id like to try a different brand, possibly a gummy because i have a hard time swallowing the pills. My question is, would it be ok to take a different brand etc, or do i need to continue with the original ones ive been taking since i found out i was pregnant? Currently 31 weeks. Thanks ladies!
m on propecia...however, my doctor (being pretty cool), prescribed me 5mg Finasteride (i.e. Propecia). I split the pills in half, which is pretty close to the dosage for Propecia. The bottle lasts me two months, and costs me $5 because finasteride is covered on my insurance. I'm 28 years old, soooo....the insurance company DID need my doctor to verify the prescription. But like I said, he is cool :) See if your doc will hook you up the same!
I used Proscar (Propecia) years ago and definitely felt it killed my libido. It does dramatically lower DHT, a sex hormone *supposedly* only needed during your growing years - but nobody has ever explained how a crucial sex hormone just suddenly becomes unimportant when you turn 18. Try generic minoxidil to keep your hair instead. No point in having decent hair if it kills your libido.
If you have a CVS pharmacy near you ,youcan ask them to special order them for you over night...they will do this for you if you ask them...not sure about other pharmacy but I am sure other pharmaacy would do the same...hope this willl help you out...

I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. Once my erection problems surfaced, I began looking for a solution. I do not want to stop taking Propecia because it has done wonders for my hair.

I have been recently told that the maker of Kolonopin no londer makes the .25 wafer so have been given the generic form. Just wondering if anyone has had the experience with changing and might have any feedback. I started the change last night. My doctor mentioned that most patients take the generic form. About three months ago I started taking propecia because I thought my hair was falling out too young. I experienced several side effects from the drug including total loss of sex drive, difficulty maintaining erections, loss of spontaneous erections/morning erections. I stopped taking propecia within 3 weeks due to an inability to deal with these side effects. Things seemed to be slowly getting slightly better as the weeks and months progressed however now some new issues have been arising.
I have been taking Propecia since 2.5 years at variable doses(0.25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
