I started taking Prozac (40 mg) at age 24 and it helped a bit to be less sad but not with a mixed disorder that includes severe anxiety, obsessive compulsive personality disorder, self sabotage, excess sleep, total lack of concentration and in general lack of interest in life. It´s like having an enemy inside constantly sabotaging your life and making you have negative and obsessive thoughts most of the time. It is exhausting.
1 1/2 years later the lexapro just basically quit working for me and slowly all of my anxiety was coming back and this time with bouts of crying and sadness. Dr switched me to Wellbutrin xl 150mg which I felt great the first few hours after taking but by the evenings I was having horrible mood swings, any little thing set me off or made me want to scream. I was impatient with my son and every thing my poor husband did got on my nerves.
In clinical studies of the recommended 50-mg dose, the percentage of people who stopped taking PRISTIQ due to side effects was similar to placebo (sugar pill).

I have been dealing with gynecological problems, high HR and BP, loss of appetite, and terrible sleep. It is overwhelming to sort out all this stuff. Thankfully, two of the gynecological issues have been resolved. hurray!
Nuts are one of the things I have found myself able to eat, probably for the reasons you mentioned, Heiferly. I feel full fast so nuts are a good way to get myself to eat without having to eat a large volume of food.
shes active enough and her moods are fine shes just the same apart fron this loss of appetite and she takes ages to eat it..she has always been a slow eater so thats nothing new but this is so slow half the time it goes cold then even i wouldnt want to eat it..any suggestions or do you think i should get her checked out..

I hear that loss of appetite isn't an MS symptom. I've had problems with appetite ever since my gall bladder attack a few months ago. While this is causing me to lose weight, it's a little disconcerting - I love food too. The only thing that drives me to eat is a rumbling tummy, and it really has to rumble.
When I was taking steroids, I had more appetite, not less, but I'm sure it's different for everyone.
When you repost this please include any and all labs and values you have currently, what the doctors have said, and what his symptoms are. Yes, unlike doctors we are very interested in symptoms. We believe that is the heart of auto immune and it goes so commonly ignored. I really hope you get some answers soon!
I went through a stage where I never was really hungry or had much of an appetite.. I'm now 33 weeks and feel like I want to eat all the time... I'm also pregnant with twins. Either way they are going to take what they need from you regardless.
I know a lot of people that have went through a major move, job loss, or divorce and it has caused them a lot of anxiety symptoms that they can not handle. In my case I have taken Celexa 2 times in the past and after a month or so it helps. I wish I didn't need medication, but without I don't how long I would have lost my appetite and not slept well.
He was a very healthy puppy when we got him and had the appetite of any puppy his age. But from the past couple of years he seems to detest food. We've tried experimenting with all sorts of foods but he just doesnt want to eat. We've finally resorted to force feeding him. Could you please suggest an alternative for this?
