Avatar m tn Handsfield, I have started with antiretroviral therapy in April this year after my cd4+ further declined to 480 and viral load remained very high at 800,000 even after 6 months after exposure. I am currently on combination of Truvada, Prezista and Norvir which I take regularly every 24 hours. I feel much better than before meds, from time to time I have soar throat, nothing serious though. I didnt notice any significant side effects except temporary diarrhoea.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone. I was originally placed on atenolol 50mg once daily for hyperthyroidism associated tachycardia but was found to have an arrythmia so while my thyroid is normal now, I am staying on the atenolol but have decreased the dose to 25mg daily.
Avatar m tn It kind of confuses me especially now that you say that because I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the end. At one point they had me taking the entire highest recommended daily dose of Geodon all at once and I hear you're only supposed to take the highest recommended daily dose in two doses and not one.

11451172 tn?1418336366 Recently I added a wet food that had her favorite flavors instead of the dry treats. Around once a week for three weeks I would give her half a serving size (no bigger than the size of a thumb). She very much enjoys it. For a little over a week, she has been vomiting a mass of hair and bits of food, surrounded by a little amount of yellow liquid every other day or two. But, immediately after throwing up she returns to her cuddly, happy self and has maintained a thick, healthy winter coat.
Avatar f tn Like they said it can be normal just from the stretching of your uterus the first 12 weeks are usually the most crampy and definitely most important because that's when everything is really developing instead of just growing in development if you get what I'm saying.
Avatar m tn The reason being I went with my girlfriend to her pap appointment a few days ago (my gf is fully aware of my condition and so is her gyno) Her doctor mentioned that there are some treatments that can be taken once a week, and that it is just another form of valtrex. Does this mean it would be a higher doseage as opposed to the 500mg x 2 for 3 days that I take?
Avatar f tn ve been getting them almost daily since that summer. Although with each new pill they put me on it stopped for a while. I was on midrin for a long while but I got used to it and started to max out and had the aide of other pills. I was put on Maxalt and it stopped working in a couple of months and I often time had to mix it with other pills. Between appt I took excedrin extra strength, I was taking 3 or 4 pills for two hours.
Avatar f tn I have had daily headaches for well over a couple years. Four to five years ago my doc thought they were migraines and I took Imitrex about once every 2 weeks. Then I started getting a worse headache from the Imitrex, like my entire head was supersensitive, my hair hurt. He sent me to a neurologist who diagnosed occiptal neuralgia. That doc has been giving me botox injections in my neck and prescribed Lyrica. I can't afford the Lyrica -- its $300 a month.
Avatar m tn I have also experienced daily headaches in my life. For a while it was made worse by the pain med rebound effect but wasnt solved by stopping. There are meds out there that could help with prevention such as amitriptyline and other antidepressants. I am taking a blood pressure med called diltazem and it works for me but there are several others. Unfortuneately you might need to give several meds a try before finding the one for you. But in the end it is so worth it.
Avatar f tn If it is then your pvcs especially since they are unifocal are nothing to worry about. It is then up to us to try and eliminate the triggers. Thing is once the spot in the heart starts to fire off the extra beat there is always potential for it to fire off. Some of the biggest triggers are stomach issues and stress. I know also around my period when I am retaining water I can get them more often. The best thing you can do is to not fret about them so much. That will make them worse.
748902 tn?1286034758 when i am with her i start think negative to, 4) knowledge is so important, when i started on my weight lose journey, I had to first discover the reasons I was over weight, and resolve them once I had let go off the past I could move forward with the weight lose,im stuck at the moment with issues I need to resolve before i can move on. 5) Talents we have all got them, so use them to make you feel good about yourself. 6) Again knowledge helps us to achieve great things.
Avatar f tn The last 2 years or so i have been having daily migraines which im taking Imigran 50mg, i find this to be the only thing that works. Im rather concerned that a side effect is Stroke-Heart Attack. Would you recommend any tests i should be having regarding my heart, and if so what and how often.
Avatar f tn Thank you! :) I'm going to ask about discontinuing the aspirin at my visit Tuesday after the u/s. They started me on that after my 1st mc in case there was a clotting issue. My tests all came back ok @ that time but they wanted me to stick with it. I forgot, I also have progesterone to take - I understand that can irritate the uterine lining, too. I just keep praying this little ones will hang in there.
