Do I need to continue taking Premarin .0625 or can I discontinue since I am past meopause age.
So she told me to have a Premarin 0.625MG and deviry 10MG. Premarin should take from 5th Day till 25st Day and Deviry from 19th till 25th .. After three month the size of uterus has not increased much so Dr suggested us to have 2 Premarin . But she is not having her period from last three Months.
Could you please suggest whether she took Deviry 10Mg to get her period back..

The thought today is NOT to take it at all or if absolutely necessary the lowest dose for the shortest length of time. It does increase your risk of developing breast cancer and most Dr.s choose NOT to prescribe at all. I would have a serious discussion with your Dr. about this if I were you. Regards .....
I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. I was wondering why i should be given premarin? I have read that premarin is mainly estrogen.. Do i need to continuously use this product? They are waiting for me to bleed for them to be able to perform the D&C. Please advise asap...
I took the 1/2 pill with great caution as my mom took premarin for many years and ended up with breast cancer which eventually took her life 5 years ago). I have been tortured since stopping my premarin regime. I don't think I have had a full nights sleep since - in fact last evening the first wake up was at 3:38 and then I had 5 more flashes before I finally got out of bed and started my day with more flashes. I suffer from Hashimotos autoimmune disease for many years and was diagnosed last year with Lupus after suffering many years with leukopenia which was caused by the Lupus or the Premarin. I took myself off of Premarin in July 2016 and I feel so much better. My hair is now growing back after losing about 3/4 of it during a Lupus flare-up that lasted over 7 months. I just started taking estratest h.s. 0.625 mg-1.25 mg tab about two weeks now...before that I had been
on climara patch once a week .05 dose...now I had no hot flushes of the face or upper body til now...

i 33 years old , had total hysterectomy (overies included ) september 07. one week later was put on premarin tablets 2x 0.65 daily and 3 months later amitriptline 25mg to stop feelin irratiable,helped a little, one year on i have turned into an ogre.. am irratiable all the time, could just leave my husband and kids (16,15,10.) all boys!!!!!

I had a total hysterectomy 20 years ago. I was prescribed Premarin daily which I took for the next 15 year until the scare of it being direclty involved in the cause of some breast cancers. I stopped immediately. I have fought the battle of hot flashes for the past 6 years and they are starting to taper off. I am now 61 years old. But I have have an increasing problem with hair loss.
I went with the natural HRT patch derived from a plant instead of the pill Premarin or Prempro derived from horse mare urine. It works great for me and I am in the lowest dose .5.
Did the blood test route, etc., took whopping doses of Viatmin D and got put on Premarin, the lowest dose. I did not do well on that. I became actually worse, emotionally and it didn't help the sweats, irritability or anything. My doctor told me to try Estroven, and it's better, but I still feel like crap. I don't sleep well at all, I am irritable and snappish and that is NOT my personality. A friend told me she was in a similar state and took bio-identicals.
