premarin nosebleed

I have infrequent nosebleeds and was prescribed Premarin cream for my nasal passages. I also have eustation tube dysfunction and was wondering could all this be related? My father also had nose bleeds and formed a clot and died from a pulmonary embolism. Is there any other way to tell why my nose bleeds? I had two in one day which is unusual and it happens in all the seasons.

I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. I was wondering why i should be given premarin? I have read that premarin is mainly estrogen.. Do i need to continuously use this product? They are waiting for me to bleed for them to be able to perform the D&C. Please advise asap...

Do I need to continue taking Premarin .0625 or can I discontinue since I am past meopause age.

Has anyone used Premarin to help jump start their period? And if so, how long did it take? I am on it for 25 days (Premarin) and then starting the aygestin after the 16th day.

I took the 1/2 pill with great caution as my mom took premarin for many years and ended up with breast cancer which eventually took her life 5 years ago). I have been tortured since stopping my premarin regime. I don't think I have had a full nights sleep since - in fact last evening the first wake up was at 3:38 and then I had 5 more flashes before I finally got out of bed and started my day with more flashes. when you get a nosebleed gently blow your nose to get any clots out that have formed because during an active bleed they are not the right kind of clots. Then take tissue and with your thumb and forefinger pinch your nose up by the bridge. Tilt your head slightly forward. Leaning backwards will cause blood to drain into your stomach and it will make you nauseated. Hold for at least 10 mins. NO PEAKING! If your nose is still bleeding after these steps, repeat as needed.

i want to say 3 feet off my bed and bumped her head really good. She also had a heavy nosebleed. The nosebleed stopped after a good minute and she had a big bump in the center of her forehead. Did the blood test route, etc., took whopping doses of Viatmin D and got put on Premarin, the lowest dose. I did not do well on that. I became actually worse, emotionally and it didn't help the sweats, irritability or anything. My doctor told me to try Estroven, and it's better, but I still feel like crap. I don't sleep well at all, I am irritable and snappish and that is NOT my personality. A friend told me she was in a similar state and took bio-identicals.
