I have experienced weight gain, mood swings, leg cramps, fatigue and loss of interest in life. I have been taking Premarin a low dose. I just stopped taking it since I don't think it's helping anyways. Any suggestions on hormones or no hormones? Or alternatives?

I took clomephene 50mg and premarin 1.25mg,but i had little white discharge this time,and my temperature raised for 5-6 days.I did not get my periods,but i feel stomach pain sometimes.Is this a good symptom or not? Please advice me.....

I had a total hysterectomy at the age of 38 and the only hormones I have been taking are premarin (lowest dose) orally and two months ago I had to commence vaginal estrogen due to vaginal atrophy. This has been a rough ride for me, and it's really good to virtually be with others that are going through the same problems. I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. I was wondering why i should be given premarin? I have read that premarin is mainly estrogen.. Do i need to continuously use this product? They are waiting for me to bleed for them to be able to perform the D&C. Please advise asap...

I dont have my ovary's. I have been on Estrogen Premarin for 2 months now. Just trying to get the right balance I need since I've been up with bad night sweats and hot flashes. This pain was just one I never felt before. I never had any pain after having my kids. The only time is when I had endo and adneomyois this past year.

Lately everytime I am sleeping I am waking up with really painful leg cramps. Yesterday I had to get out of bed to stretch it out and it seemed like it was taking forever to go away. Now today I woke up with one in my other leg.....what can I do to get rid of these? Im constantly stretching my legs, wiggling my toes, and moving my ankles.

Yes, I agree with you on the potassium deficiency. It is a frequent cause of leg cramps.

Try eating more bananas. I think the potasium in them help w cramps.

I also had a lot of leg cramps at work where I stood and walked around for 8 hours + daily my doctor suggested a change of shoes from my kitchen shoes to actual running shoes with support inserts, she also gave me a note for a stool but because it would cause a hazardous work environment I got my hours cut 100% I'm still technically employed but I haven't worked in 3 months

Since I entered the third trimester I've been getting leg cramps every night. I tried wrapping them, elevating, Tylenol, bananas, etc. In the morning my legs are so sore , I eat bananas like crazy and still every night like clock work. It's bad enough I work evening, now the leg cramps keep me up. Does any one have any suggestions on what I can do to help my poor legs.
