I take the depo shot and when I have a period it stays on forever like talking 4 to 5 months my doctor told me it qould be normal for the forst 2 or 3 months ive been taking it for almost 7 why so I stay on my period forever???

I have been on my period for 11 days now. I took Medroxyp Ac 10mg. I was prescribed 5 pills to take 5 days in a row. I took 2 of them 2 days in a row skipped a day and took 2 of them 2 days in a row and didn't take the 5th pill. Would this have something to do with why I am going on 12 days tomorrow being on my period?! I took the pills the prior months correctly like directed and my periods were normal (5-7days).

I have to go for a TRANSVAGINAL ultrasound tomorrow....he also gave me a medication to stop or slow down the bleeding. I'm clueless??? Could I be pregnant or could have been??

I took the 1/2 pill with great caution as my mom took premarin for many years and ended up with breast cancer which eventually took her life 5 years ago). I have been tortured since stopping my premarin regime. I have been bleeding for 10 days now and I thought it was my period but only time I see blood is when I wipe .I usually have 5 day periods and I test negative for pregnancy.
