Then came the Diarrhea and I am not talking one time....

I became so estrogen dominant and became a total mess. I went to a very good hormone imbalance seminar a few days ago and it was great. I think if you went off, you'll regret it in time. There are so many symptoms with low or no hormone production.
I was diagnosed for missed abortion last May 17,2008 (as seen in the Ultrasound,the baby has no heart beat) i was administered a premarin 0.62 mg every 6 hours, the doctor said to soften the cervix as well as cytotec 200 mg every 8 hours. The pain got much worse and I was not feeling myself so I stopped taking the premerin and opted to try a product I found on line called Amberen, so far that isnt doinganything for the hot flashes and night sweats at all but since stopping the premarin my legs are not bothering. I am taking calcium pills for my bones but I am truly worried for my health and want to find the best options for me.

OK, so I went to the doctor because I initially had discharge (lasted a day or two) and itching (alot of itching) and a few small bumps on my labia mostly and vaginal area. The study was flawed from the start, however. And, even though I am not a Premarin fan at all, there are some women who do okay on it. However, other types of hormones and hormonal delivery symptoms (meaning patches, creams, etc. vs. a pill) have come a long way in the past ten years alone. And, more and more research has also been done regarding the types of hormonal replacement that are available. You just have to know where to look and whom you should trust...
Can I use Premarin cream along with a yeast medication(Diflucan)? Does the moisture in the Premarin cream keep a yeast infection from healing?
It seems odd to follow fibroid surgery with estrogen HRT (premarin and estrone are both types of estrogen) since estrogen causes fibroids to grow...
You should call your doctor and ask when your period should start.
I'm surprised your doctor did not tell you to use protection (condom, diaphragm) until you are ready to get pregnant since Premarin does not prevent pregnancy...

If you are breastfeeding then you should do the progestin only pill as the pill with the combo of estrogen and progestin has been shown to affect milk supply. It's called the mini pill. It's slightly less effective so you have to make sure that you don't miss any doses, as it will increase your chances of another pregnancy. They also have a progestin implant that is quite effective as well, and then you don't have to worry about if you miss a pill.

I have a question based on a helpful response you gave me earlier. When Vagifem or Estrace is prescribed for a post menopausal woman with a uterus, should a progestin always be prescribed as well? I've been taking Vagifem for 2 years without a progestin, and now I have to undergo an endometrial biopsy because of some buildup of the lining of my uterus (I have no bleeding....it showed up on an TV ultrasound...small changes and endometrial thickness of 5mm).
You had a hyster for an ovarian cyst? Was it cancerous? Was there another reason why they gave you the hyster? Have you had an ultrasound done recently? It is possible to have Ovarian remnant syndrome and a cyst has grown back hence the weight gain however it could be something totally different. Are you having any abdominal issues?
If you start within five days after the start of your period, you are protected against pregnancy right away. You will not need to use a backup method of birth control. If you start at any other time during your menstrual cycle, you will be protected from pregnancy after seven days.
