so im nearly day 9 now and dont feel too bad at all apart from the odd sneeze.i used pregabalin for the pain and zopiclone too sleep at night.i live in uk and doctors here were i live are strict so we managed to buy a few here and there from street dealers.i know i was only on a low dose of subutex but i would preech to anyone to try this out if u can when about to start a subbie detox.thanks azza..

whats the best medication out there that can help treat anxiety dizziness,fainting and light headed'ness? the only anti anxiety medication iv tryed is pregabalin,which that didnt help the dizziness.im allso on fluxoteine and sturgeon,any help is great!

If you are already post-menopausal, you can ask your doctor about switching to a different class of drugs called aromatase inhibitors (like arimidex or femara). For the present pain, you may ask your doctor about additional drugs for neuropathic pain such as gabapentin or pregabalin. Also, some alternative treatments can offer some pain control such as accupressure or accupuncture. I hope your pain can be controlled soon. Regards and God bless.

can anyone tell me what Lyrica is and Savella, in england Lyrica is a company who make a drug called Pregabalin,thats what i am on now,been back to doc 2day and he has give me a larger dose of pregabalin.

Last week I started adding 100 mg of tegretol to my other TN meds (pregabalin and gabapentin) at night. I noticed the next day I was exceptionally groggy. I was also having a lot of muscle pain and weakness (very pronounced at times), particularly in my legs. I also developed pretty pronounced dry mouth, and was also having a problem with slurring my words more. I initially was scared that it was an exacerbation but then realized the sx came on the morning after starting the drug.

Hi i wondered if anyone could explain there experience of Pregabalin (Lyrica?) i have been on Gabapentin for the last 3 months with only a little success (the twitches have reduced considerably) but no relief pain. Now the Dr is going to swap me to Pregabalin which has to be done slowly to switch from one to the other, so this will start as soon as I'm home from holiday. I wondered if anyone had done this and what there experience of the drugs are?

no it is not arthritis.....my question is....what will happen if she combines the methadone and the pregabalin?...she takes methadone about every other day...a bottle of 130mg methadone will last her almost 5 to 6 days....any info would be helpful.

Thanks for that, Tuck. I've had a look through PubMed database to see if there have been scientific studies specifically on the question of tolerance, but without joy. As far as I can tell, the main assumption/claim is that because pregabalin is not known to be metabolically active (ie, the liver and body don't metabolise it into other molecules) the patient shouldn't develop tolerance. I am now a bit more sceptical of that claim.

Anyway just before we went, I had an dr. appointment. In short he is changing the Gabapentin to Pregabalin which he is asking my GP to over see when I'd returned from holiday. Also did a blood test for sarcoid, as I have had eye problems, he felt this was unlikley but wanted the test done. If that is negative he is refering me to a specialist for botox which will help the TN pain. So I have returned to find a letter from my GP to go and see him as soon as I return from holiday.

m current on 50mcg/hour fentanyl with 10-20mg oxycodone (PRN) for breakthrough pain along with 300mg pregabalin (have only just recently discontinued this however along with discontinuing 10mg PRN diazepam). I can guarantee not only will your pain come back, but you will so miserable! I take its cousin, pregabalin, for nerve pain in my back, and occasionally I run low on them and you would not believe how many aches and pains a person really has until they quit a drug to help all that. It is a fairly mild drug, however, so it's not like you won't be able to function, you just won't be a happy camper.

t spoken to my Dr yet as the surgery has been shut over Xmas and I did expect evrything to calm down since increasing the Pregabalin, am currently visiting my lovely stepdaughter for a few days (sitting with my feet up and playing with her laptop) I am seeing my neuro in a few weeks but am wondering if I should visit my Dr again as at this rate I doubt I will be back to work next week - the Hospital did mention putting me on a steroid drip and then changed their minds - is this the way forward?

So my GP prescribed me static neck exercise, swimming and prescribed to take Pregabalin-M 75 (Pregabalin-Methylcobalamine tablets 75mg) For 1 month and then stop. I took 5 doses yet. But I'm having this following side-effects - dizziness, sleepiness whole day, lack of interest and and concentration, bad mood, sexually charged dreams, erection problem and lack of libido or interest in sexual desire. I have a high libido by default. But I'm not feeling it since I took the medicines.

I was on 1800mg a day and put on a stone over 4 months! I have now swapped to pregabalin and I am beginning to lose the weight.
