mirapex

Avatar f tn m going to have to go through my supplements and meds. The only new med is the Pramipexole .05 twice a day (Mirapex). The supplements are Sam-E, D 2000, A and Magnesium 250 twice a day. I'm going to cut the Pramipexole to once a day. Does anyone see if any one of these would cause this or is there a virus going around?
Avatar m tn Has anyone tried Pramipexole (Mirapex, Mirapexin, Sifrol) for chronic pain? I have had low back pain for about 15 years now. I finally got someone to do an MRI back in June (I think, it was slightly before summer 2016) and they found a herniated disc at L4-L5 and a degenerated disc at L5-S1. The neurosurgeon decided surgery wasn't worth the risk and pain treatment was the best option.
Avatar f tn Has anyone used a patch? The only med I take is pramipexole.
1192491 tn?1265031829 Currently, there is a generic available for Mirapex (Pramipexole) and it is made by TEVA pharmaceuticals. It comes in the 0.125mg, 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg, and 1.5mg strength tablets.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know if doctors can really measure chemical imblances in the brain? I have had bipolar type 1 rapid cycling for ten years now, and that's all I hear about. If you look at the package inserts of the meds we take some of them state that the "mechanism of action is unknown" What a great comfort (not!). Anyone else sceptical?
Avatar m tn My husband is taking clonazepam .05, Lomtrigine 200 mg and pramipexole dihydrochloride 0.25 for depression, anxiety and RLS. He hasn't been able to get out of bed lately and has missed a lot of work. Could this excessive sleepiness be due to the combination of these drugs? It is not that he doesn't want to get out of bed, it's almost as if he is drugged, which led to my question. This is not normal.

Avatar m tn Other than that, i want to discuss with you guys that there are already research for this disease. Im not quiet sure how to paste the link here. Avatar m tn capsaicin. It’s the chemical that makes cayenne pepper hot. But it does a lot more than spice up your food. Capsaicin has heart-health benefits. Oxidation of cholesterol is a major cause of clogged arteries. Capsaicin helps your body keep this oxidation under control.(1) It supports healthy levels of cholesterol and fats in your blood, too.(2) But capsaicin may also support the survival of your heart’s muscle cells.
Avatar f tn According to Dr. de Meirleir, a major cause of ME/CFS is a high level of the chemical hydrogen sulfide (H2S). http://chronicfatigue.about.com/b/2009/05/29/breaking-news-chronic-fatigue-syndrome-cause-mechanism-diagnostic-test-discovered-researchers-say.htm Just wondering on others thoughts.
Avatar n tn Please can one of the doctors help me. I desperately need sleep because I have been plagued by this horrible infliction for the past 2 months now. It can keep me awake most of the night & sleep only comes early morning when this funny horrible sensation subides. My doctor has offered me tablets called Pramipexole/Mirapexin but I understand they are a brain blocker & I only take them when I am absolutely desperate.
Avatar n tn It might be restless leg syndrome. RLS is most likely to involve lower extremities but can involve other body parts as well. I got a bad case of it towards the end of my last tx, 48 weeks of triple tx with Incivek. The RLS hit me at about week 36 and continued until about a week after I quit the meds. My internist prescribed a small dose of Pramipexole (a Parkinson's drug) for it but I hated the way it made me feel.
Avatar m tn m using (Pramipexole) but I suffer a dizziness side effect. I need your help to use a medicine which have not such side effect. Thanks in advance.
Avatar m tn Is there a connection between chemical sensitivies and an IgE of 1056? All other allergens have been ruled out.
Avatar m tn Can depression happen to people with out a chemical imbalance? Can the chemical imbalance be caused? Can someone start feeling pending doom, loss of interest, crying all the time because of a situation that never changes and not be depression? Or is that a classic description of depression? If not depression is there help for them?
1218873 tn?1300091216 About blaming all things on a "chemical imbalance". A chemical imbalance in the brain would affect it globally - all over. You would see affective (mood) changes, personality changes, impulse, activity, things like appetite etc BUT you would NOT see localized neuro symptoms like assymetrical weakness, localized paresthesias, spasticity here, but not there. That is hogwash. That ""diagnosis"" is the result of a very mediocre mind!

Avatar f tn Ok, So I have read the research this year that Toluene was found in high doses in people with PATM. So I Started to research how toxic and irritating this chemical can be to us and others around us. Come to find out, this chemical can be produced by BACTERIA with enzymes in our body. One study I read said a type of e coli produced it, and then I read about other BACTERIA producing this chemical for bio fuel through a bio fuel company.
Avatar f tn Hi all, I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out if I had a chemical pregnancy and miscarriage. I woke up Monday morning with severe cramping and I couldn't figure out from what. It continued into Tuesday along with some nausea and later that night I began bleeding. Wednesday the bleeding got heavier and the cramping more intense. I was in pain and experiencing nausea for most of the day. I also woke up with cramping this morning...
Avatar n tn Dopamine agonists such as ropinirole, pramipexole, carbidopa/levodopa or pergolide are used and you have to monitor these drugs. There are some issues with the use of dopamine agonists. There are conditions where the drug itself causes symptoms to increase in severity and/or occur earlier in the day. Monitoring the adverse effects of the drug and titrating a proper dosage is important for your daughter. Take care!
Avatar f tn Yesterday my doctor prescribed me Mirapex Pramipexole Dihydrochloride tablets 0.125mg. I took two before bed and no RLS! I slept for 12 hours! BTW I'm down to one 10mg oxyneo and one 5mg oxtcocet. Staying like this for another day and than hitting ground zero tomorrow. Praying it won't be to bad, but with this new med for RLS I think I'm gong to be OK.
213141 tn?1270662112 s another avenue of hope for the 270 to 300 million people who are infected with hepatitis C worldwide. Research just published in the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology's Journal of Biochemistry (JVC) concludes a chemical found in blueberry leaves actually blocks the replication of the hepatitis C virus, shutting it down.
393685 tn?1425812522 PTH is the hormone chemical coming from the parathyroid glands to trigger the bones to give calcium to the blood. A high reading of it or calcium in the blood indicates the glands are overworking, or hyper. I know an ademona on the gland can throw off everything, so bloodwork and/or tests can come back okay and there can still be a problem. You're probably going to end up having to see an endo, no matter what. Especially since you have thryoid issues.
10219953 tn?1426171839 Why is it that science and medicine research so much on synthetic chemicals and such yet all these natural items: primerose, cinnamon, aloe era,cumin,etc.... Avatar f tn Greetings doctor I am actually doing a research paper on HIV for school and with so much info online from one end of the spectrum to the other I figure I would ask a specialist directly a few questions so here it goes... 1-with testing now a days would you consider 6-8 weeks conclusive? 2-do you believe rapid tests are just as reliable as lab based? 3-do you feel oral rapid tests are just as good as blood? 4-what are the most common symptoms you see with onset of HIV?
