m going to have to go through my supplements and meds. The only new med is the Pramipexole .05 twice a day (Mirapex). The supplements are Sam-E, D 2000, A and Magnesium 250 twice a day. I'm going to cut the Pramipexole to once a day. Does anyone see if any one of these would cause this or is there a virus going around?
Has anyone tried Pramipexole (Mirapex, Mirapexin, Sifrol) for chronic pain? I have had low back pain for about 15 years now. I finally got someone to do an MRI back in June (I think, it was slightly before summer 2016) and they found a herniated disc at L4-L5 and a degenerated disc at L5-S1. The neurosurgeon decided surgery wasn't worth the risk and pain treatment was the best option.
Has anyone used a patch? The only med I take is pramipexole.
My husband is taking clonazepam .05, Lomtrigine 200 mg and pramipexole dihydrochloride 0.25 for depression, anxiety and RLS. He hasn't been able to get out of bed lately and has missed a lot of work. Could this excessive sleepiness be due to the combination of these drugs? It is not that he doesn't want to get out of bed, it's almost as if he is drugged, which led to my question. This is not normal.
Please can one of the doctors help me. I desperately need sleep because I have been plagued by this horrible infliction for the past 2 months now. It can keep me awake most of the night & sleep only comes early morning when this funny horrible sensation subides.
My doctor has offered me tablets called Pramipexole/Mirapexin but I understand they are a brain blocker & I only take them when I am absolutely desperate.
It might be restless leg syndrome. RLS is most likely to involve lower extremities but can involve other body parts as well. I got a bad case of it towards the end of my last tx, 48 weeks of triple tx with Incivek. The RLS hit me at about week 36 and continued until about a week after I quit the meds. My internist prescribed a small dose of Pramipexole (a Parkinson's drug) for it but I hated the way it made me feel.
m using (Pramipexole) but I suffer a dizziness side effect. I need your help to use a medicine which have not such side effect. Thanks in advance.
Dopamine agonists such as ropinirole, pramipexole, carbidopa/levodopa or pergolide are used and you have to monitor these drugs.
There are some issues with the use of dopamine agonists. There are conditions where the drug itself causes symptoms to increase in severity and/or occur earlier in the day. Monitoring the adverse effects of the drug and titrating a proper dosage is important for your daughter.

Yesterday my doctor prescribed me Mirapex Pramipexole Dihydrochloride tablets 0.125mg. I took two before bed and no RLS! I slept for 12 hours! BTW I'm down to one 10mg oxyneo and one 5mg oxtcocet. Staying like this for another day and than hitting ground zero tomorrow. Praying it won't be to bad, but with this new med for RLS I think I'm gong to be OK.
Any women have problems with edema AFTER delivery? What about issues with a low heart rate and high or elevated BP?
I have had rt thigh, calf and hip edema since 1/14. It came on out of nowhere. No injury. Neg for DVT, neg MRI for mass, neg mass on abdominal CT scan. Multiple hypodense, Ill defined nodules were identified on spleen and a few on liver. CT scan of chest identified multiple hilar lymphadenopathy. This prompted bx. Dx: Sarcoidosis. Had 2 unsuccessful rounds of prednisone. Now getting Remicade tx. I feel better overall, but the edema

I am anorexic for 2 years. Recently I noticed edema on feet? Is this a serious condition? Pls help. What should I do to reduce the swelling. My urinalysis result was normal. What might be the cause of swelling.
Hi. I am on my 7th month of pregnancy now and I am experiencing edema or swelling on my feet. Do you have any suggestions how to manage this problem, please?
3 months after these tests, I started having bi lateral edema in both lower legs/ankles, but not so much my feet. I went to my GP was ran CBC, CMP, Liver panel, and BNP test. He was no longer concerned. I then went to another cardiologist for 2nd opinion, he did another echo and again the EF was 61%.
I then saw a 2nd GP for a fresh opinion about the edema and he wasn't concerned either, after the normal blood tests.
Does edema from hepatitis happen on both feet or can it happen with just one foot? My right foot is swollen with no obvious sign of injury.
I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I am wondering if anyone has this symptom. I have extremely painful pitting edema in my legs and they feel so heavy that I can hardly pick my leg up and walk. This has ruined my life for the last 9 months. I have a baby that is 11 months old and I haven't even been able to enjoy his life this far. I do not have insurance and I feel like the doctor I'm seeing at the clinic is not taking me serious.
How do you deal with edema? I have swollen ankles that won't respond to anything. Even Lasix prescription is not helping.
Compression socks and elevating legs help only minimally.

I seem to have full body edema, to the point where my whole body is sensitive to the touch. Just simple things like putting on my jeans, or when one of my children tap me on the arm to get my attention, the pain is excruciating. I wake up in the morning with severe abdominal pain (from my sternum down and from left to right), puffy eyes and hands and bouts of diahrrea.

With that said you need to look at the cause of your edema before you can determine if it cause be "cured." Edema is not a specific medical condition. It is a symptom of a condition.
So what causes your edema?
Is it regular edema or pitting edema? Pitting is when you press on an area and it stays depressed for a few minutes.
In non-pitting edema, which usually affects the legs or arms, pressure that is applied to the skin does not result in a persistent indentation. Non-pitting edema can occur in certain disorders of the lymphatic system such as lymphedema, which is a disturbance of the lymphatic circulation that may occur after a mastectomy, lymph node surgery, or congenitally.
I have had CFS for years, but now am experiencing edema in hands, feet, belly and around eyes. It is worst in the morning. Is there any connection between CFS and edema?
His last doses of Neurontin were yesterday because he has again developed the same edema but now it has extended to calves of both legs. The edema has not subsided, in fact, it is somewhat worse. His legs are not hot or red, but walking is more difficult because of the swelling. Is there another possible cause for the edema?
