The last couple of days I've been REAL sick at my stomach and dizzy. I don't have any fever. I'm just wondering if it's a virus? If not I'm going to have to go through my supplements and meds. The only new med is the Pramipexole .05 twice a day (Mirapex). The supplements are Sam-E, D 2000, A and Magnesium 250 twice a day. I'm going to cut the Pramipexole to once a day. Does anyone see if any one of these would cause this or is there a virus going around?
I have been reading positive things about Pramipexole helping with pain and was thinking about suggesting it to my doc to try in combo with my Hydro. I was just curious if anyone here has any experience with it or knows someone who has?
Has anyone used a patch? The only med I take is pramipexole.
I'm addicted to a game gamblin site , my question is there a way of conversations to get out of this? I've been in therapy for years and it doesn't help me.
My husband is taking clonazepam .05, Lomtrigine 200 mg and pramipexole dihydrochloride 0.25 for depression, anxiety and RLS. He hasn't been able to get out of bed lately and has missed a lot of work. Could this excessive sleepiness be due to the combination of these drugs? It is not that he doesn't want to get out of bed, it's almost as if he is drugged, which led to my question. This is not normal.
Alright ladies, I need some advice. My brother is law's 21st birthday is next weekend, and he wants to go to a casino for dinner and gambling. I can't decide if I should go or not. There are non smoking rooms for gambling and the restaurants are all non smoking. I just don't know if I'm over thinking this whole thing, and if I should just go for a few hours and stay in the non smoking areas. What do you think?

I got a bad case of it towards the end of my last tx, 48 weeks of triple tx with Incivek. The RLS hit me at about week 36 and continued until about a week after I quit the meds. My internist prescribed a small dose of Pramipexole (a Parkinson's drug) for it but I hated the way it made me feel. Someone else on the forum suggested magnesium supplements and that worked great.
I am a healthy 45-male. Non-smoker. In May I began having muscle fatigue in my lower legs... both of them. Within a couple of weeks it had spread to my arms as well. Not weakness and not really pain... just a rubbery feeling like I'd been working out for hours. I've been to my primary doc, a rheumatologist, and a neuro. I have had dozens of blood tests done... all mostly normal. My neuro did a nerve test on my legs and arms. All normal. I've had an MRI of my spine... nothing.
m using (Pramipexole) but I suffer a dizziness side effect. I need your help to use a medicine which have not such side effect. Thanks in advance.
Well, sure the medication could be making you FEEL more impulsive, but you're still in control of your decisions and compulsions. Have you ever been diagnosed with manic-depression, or Bi-polar disorder? If not, it sounds as though perhaps the Effexor may be making you a little manic. Do you feel very "up"?
The sad thing here is that the medication IS working to decrease the initial symptoms you started taking it for.

Hey sorry to hear of you recent misfortunes but you are 100% correct you have to stop all together you are an addict and will always be an addict and need to come to terms with that trust me if you can get a grip on things and refrain from any and all use of alchol and or gambling it could be an ok thing you may even be able to help others.
She has been taking carbidopa/levadopa and had probably increased the amount she takes as she seems to have the leg and arm continuously. At the onset, she is suffering a lot of pain and discomfort. She is wondering if the arm problem has started because of the carbidopa. She has had to sleep on the floor because of her discomfort. Soma seems to relax her a bit.
I guess my question is this. Is this all connected, arms and legs, or is it a symptom of something else.
We were there all of about an hour and got bored. We ate and went to the car. We drive around for a few minutes and then decided to have sex. The only thing That happened was he fingered me, but he did not wash his hands before he touched me after the gambling machines.
It is about 3 weeks later now, and I have flu like symptoms. I have been worried sick for days and am going to get an STD test tomorrow.

I asked him if he had a gambling problem and he shut right up. I also printed out some things about complusive gambling and left them where he could see them. I no longer do his laundry because he won't give me any quarters to do it. To make things even better I have found someone who is looking for a roommate.
