Had my first ultrasound today and my baby looks like a gummy bear according to my 4 year old son lol.

Transfer was postponed till I get better. Doctor gave me Lasix 40 mg to be taken once and Neo-K (potassium chloride) 500 mg twice daily for 5 days for now. My concern is that I ate two potatoes, one banana, a cup of yogurt, and tomato, all potassium sources today.

My wife and I have a low potassium diet and need to supplement with 1.5g to 2.5g per day depending on how active we are and how much milk we drink for added protein. m wondering if you can or can not use something like Lo Salt that has potassium chloride in it along with beta blockers, and if so how much is recommended. I'm looking to substitute lo salt for some other high in potassium foods in order to cut down on my sugar content.

Hi! Thanks for responding. I am using the OV watch and was just wondering if there is a "loop hole" in this technology. Meaning to say that just because the watch is reading the chloride activity and indicating so on the watch, could I assume I was ovulating as well. Guess I'm just tired of disappointment. This is the first month I have used the watch and it has indicated Fertile Day one-four and OV Day 1 and so on. We've been going at it!

now down to 10) 4 days of major charlie horses Dr said stop taking Gemfibrozil.. and to help with the swelling I was put on lasix furosemide 20 mg and pot chloride 20 meg.. I am drinking more water but not peeing anymore than normal..dizzy tho.and sometimes short of breath, especially when walking or talking..how much water should I be drinking, an the muscle cramps and weakness of my legs will they get better? This kills me.. the pain last for hours after a cramp.

Ok...I was confused as I was not aware this could happen like this, I thought they were in tandem....huh....well If I find ne info I will let u know. Didn't ur Dr advise u how to do this?

my little bean grew into a gummy bear with arms and legs (although i thought it looked like a hampster.) So the heartbeat was 176 beats per minute and it was the greatest thing to ever see. after 2 MC's i am so excited.

she also got blood work done for signs of fatigue (showed up months before this incident) and her chloride and potassium levels were well above healthy. could this contribute to her period being late? please let me know, thanks.

Night time muscle pain may be due to an imbalance in the potassium, magnesium, and sodium relationship. Try giving your daughter a half a banana at night before she goes to bed. P You sound way more responsible about your vitamins :) Oh, wait, but I might actually be able to offer something useful! Have you tried the gummy omega-3 fishes? They have them at Costco or Trader Joe's... mmmm! They're actually yummy - no fishy taste. Your post might finally get me to start taking calcium too. Best to you!

I had my fourth ultrasound this morning. DH and I can't ge over how much our baby has grown. It has gone from looking like an alien to a cute little gummy bear. I'm 8w4d today! The baby was moving around and flipping and kept putting it's hand up to it's mouth. RE said that since we have a baby with cardiac and movement, miscarriage is at a 5% rate right now. That is a blessing to us after going through 2 miscarriages.

I take the citranatal prenatal gummy bears, try the flinestone gummy bears or gummy bear type pills...

And 9wk embryo does have small arm and leg buds. A gummy bear was a good way to describe it.. You'll definitely see cardiac activity. And the baby actually starts to move in the 9th week, so you may see the baby flex/extend it's body. Hope you have a good experience.

So I have been looking into this, comparing ingredients of vitamins and medications. Oh, and thanks Quix for the info last month.

I had one at 8 weeks and 3 days and the baby looked like a little gummy bear. The arms and legs were just starting to form. Like others have said, they will probably want to do one vaginally.

I call the baby (in my belly) my baby bear.
