Avatar n tn Hi, Elidel or pimecrolimus, an immunosuppressant, works by decreasing the body's immune system to help slow down the growth of atopic dermatitis on the skin. It is recommended that Elidel is used exactly as prescribed and only on skin areas affected with eczema. Take care and best regards.
