Yes Phentermine is the generic name. I was told the same thing yesterday that they aew usually only prescribed for 3 months. I don't know why my Dr. is still giving them to me then. I guess just because I have been having success with them still. Anyways thank you for replying.

When I switched over to the generic, I started having problems and had to increased the dose from 900mgs to 1600mgs over the space of a few months. I would like to comment on Messah (I think is the name) about her right side swollen for 3 months. I started taking Phentermine 37.5MG right before Christmas day 2010 and by December 26th, I started having problems with my left side and by December 28th my left side went completely numb and pain started shooting all over my head. I started taking celexa about 5 months ago for mild depression and more recently phentermine for weight loss but these jerking movements were happening way before the phentermine. I started having nausea, on Tuesday, which was somewhat relieved by vomiting Tuesday evening. Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. ve taken, both, generic levothyroxine (T4) and liothyronine (T3), as well, as brand name Synthroid and Cytomel. I did better on on generic levo than I did on Synthyroid... I've been taking generic liothyronine for over 5 yrs and have done just as well as I did on Cytomel. I don't think you'll have any difficulty, with generic T3, but if you do, you can always go back to Cytomel.

They took the second part of the diet cocktail off the market because it was causing heart damage. I used to take it for energy, cuz I was a shallow work out freak.
