Since I have been on this I have to say it never helped me lose weight but it kept me from thinking about pigging out and if you work out on it, it helps out so much and works better. I drank tons of water on it the dry mouth I hated! Just remember everyone that takes it reacts to it differently. Are you getting it from a clinic? I did and I would always email or call to ask questions!

In January of 2015 I started taking Phentermine in just 3 months I lost a total of 50 lbs it was amazing than I became pregnant and had my baby in December of 2015 I breast fed her for 2 months than I decided to start back with phentermine to my surprise Phentermine was no longer helping me I was doing exactly what I did in the beginning 1200 calories a day 30 min work out 3 times a week but I would get crazy hungry at night I felt light headed and even though I worked out I still felt so lazy
I went to see my doctor and he put me on phentermine 37.5mg once a day and topamax 23 mg in half doeses twice dailey. I also take adderall 20mg twice Dailey. I asked him if theses two meds who interact with one another and his response was no . I guess my question is how do I safely spread them out during the day. It seems I can't get it right because when I take either or I get very anxious . I already take a anti anxiety med clonazepam for accational panic attacks.
i too was on phentermine and kinda hit a wall - stopped working and couldn't sleep well.. i requested meridia (big $) to replace/in addition to the phen and it gave me terrible gastric pains.
doc then had me try the phen in the morning and diethylpropion (tenuate) in evening (where i was having sleep issues). worked wonderfully. i had considered asking for phendimetrizine but i read it was a schedule 3 drug and i had read a bariatric magazine article that casually linked it to pph.
After, I stopped working out and gained about 40 pounds.. When going back to the gym, I lost 10 pounds (woo!!) But have now hit a plateau.. I've changed my diet and everything, but cannot seam to lose the remainder of the weight.
After searching online, I have found that HCG Injections and Phentermine could be a great combination and works well for weight loss.
Has anyone tried this and if so, what were your results?
m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????
I have been taking Phentermine for about a week and I have a lot of red, ichy bumps (they look and are symptomic as mosquito bites generally behave). If I didn't know better I would think they were mosquito bites! They are contained on my torso, sides and back - these presented after about 3 days on Phentermine, and I cannot belive that I would end up with 30+ mosquito bites in one day - they all appeared overnight. Can this be a reaction to the Phentermine?
I've been taking monthly B12 injections for about 2 years, and 37.5 mg phentermine daily for about a month, and I haven't lost any weight at all. The four and a half pounds that I've lost, I attribute to the boot camp that joined two weeks ago.
My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.

Could I be pregnant with Iud I've had the iud implanted one year ago. After my second child was born nursed him for one whole year and never got my first periods till December 20 of last year. The next time got it was January 25th I've been having lots of cramping here and there with some lower back pains. I'm on this diet pills called Phentermine I'm going on the third month on taking it.
My diet was pretty unhealthy so since I’ve been on the phentermine I have watched my diet carefully, changed to very healthy items and count my calories. Initially my doctor had me on 15 mg once a day. I kissed 3 pounds right away, then it stopped. The doctor told me to take 30mg a day. I’ve lost another pound and am at 150. I literally cannot seem to lose weight. Any suggestions or ideas? I take vitamins. I was even doing B12 shots before and a few weeks in on this. I’m just lost!

I have Hypothyroidism and have been trying to lose 10lbs for the past couple of years, I spoke to a pharmacist and she suggested I ask my doctor for Phentermine.
Has anyone tried this before and is it safe with taking Amour Thyroid 180mg. I'm 5'8" and weigh 152 and want to be 143, I work out 6x's a week cardio for 45-60 mins. and every other day 30 mins weight lifting.
Wait it out. Phentermine is nothing but caffeine, and the pharmacist and doctor should have told you to reduce your caffein intake. If they didnt, then it was in your package insert when you get the medicine filled.
Right now all you can do is wait it out. Rest, drink lots of water and NO MORE ENERGY DRINKS. Never, ever do that again. You are going to cause yourself to have heart problems do to the excessive amount of caffeine.
I was told they would mail me the lipo b injections since the clinic is so far from where I live. I am totally not used to the phentermine and am having trouble sleeping. I have eaten far less today than I usually do. I have not been hungry at all. So it's definately working. Could some of the loss you experienced be water? The doc I went to said that can happen.
