I'm on a prescription phentermine and it works curbing my appetite!
I am very addicted to phentermine (diet pills). How long does withdrawal take? Can I taper? Must I be hospitalized?
The same thing happened to me. I say about a week and half after I started taking the pills I broke out in hives to. i took them 2 3 years ago and didn't have any problems. I go to a diet doctor and they compound the pills themselves at the doctor office. I have been off the pills for 3 days now and I"m still breaking out in hives. all over my chest,neck, and arms, and hands. They switched me to phendtrazimine, this pills are not as strong and I don't have as much energy.
I am supposed to start these tomorrow but am a little concerned if Phentermine and a Beta Blocker can be taken safely together under my certain circumstances and if I should have any concerns regarding my already strained heart, while on something like Phentermine?

A doctor prescribed me a combo of Redotex in the morning and 30mg Phentermine HCl at lunch (for weight loss). Is it dangerous?
These are the active ingredients of Redotex:
o Tri iodothyronine (Triyodotironina) 75 mcg. A hormone used to increase the metabolic rate of tissues.
o Norpseudoephedrine (Clorhidrato de D Norseudoefedrina) 50 mg. An amphetamine like drug.
o Atropine sulfate (Sulfato de Atropina) 0.36 mg. Used as a respiratory and circulatory stimulant.
o Aloin (Aloina) 16.2 mg.
I have been taking diet pills for at least five years and recently (4 months ago) got on phentermine and redotex from mexico. I just found out today November 10 that I am four months pregnant! I've had no signs of pregnancy, havent had a period for at least eight years, no bump, no sickness, absolutely nothing, but did an ultrasound and found out. What my concern is, is if the baby will be healthy or if the pregnancy should be terminated?
33f, DM 2, Been taking Metformin XR 500mg 2 pills x2 a day. Started phentermine after trying invonkana, and trulicity to bring my a1c down. Mid January 2017 I started the phentermine. Towards the end of February 2017 I had ketones in my urine and was in ketosis. I was excercisin religiously and watching my carb intake.i was eating between 100 to 150gms of carbs. I was not on a ketogenic diet. After that visit i have been extremely ill. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Caution is advised combining Wellbutrin and Phentermine as this combo may increase your risk of seizures. If weight gain is a side effect of your psych meds, talk to your prescribing doctor about your concerns.

I've had the same reactions to the phentermine..ive been taking mine since june 25th, and the day i started taking it, i got on the treadill at home and did some interval training for 30 min and the next morning i had lost 4 pounds (i used to do the lipo b shots too, but wasnt at that time) and the first week n a half, i wouldnt eat a thing unless i reminded myself to eat. it was like the part of my body that creates those hunger pains had just dissappeared?!?!
I reside in the Atlanta GA area, and I have read a lot of forums pertaining to b12 injections, and phentermine for weight lost. From my understanding they're not something you can get your regular doctor to prescribe. In the past year I've had a baby gain 75pds, and I have not been able to lose it since. I have been taking Phentermine for about a week and I have a lot of red, ichy bumps (they look and are symptomic as mosquito bites generally behave). If I didn't know better I would think they were mosquito bites! They are contained on my torso, sides and back - these presented after about 3 days on Phentermine, and I cannot belive that I would end up with 30+ mosquito bites in one day - they all appeared overnight. Can this be a reaction to the Phentermine?
I started Phentermine and B-12 in Feb 2012 I lost 4lbs the first two weeks. 6.5 lbs the 2nd two weeks and none the 3rd two weeks. It then took me 3 weeks to lose 3 more lbs. I am scared to weigh myself tomorrow in fear that I haven't lost my goal is 165. Since 2009 I have been taking 37.5 Phentermine pills consistently with minor breaks and recently my chest has been giving me trouble. Since last Sunday, my heart has been pounding with an elevated pulse so I decided to go to Primary physician. She performed and EKG which my results were normal but she wanted me to see a Cardiologist to be sure...
Wait it out. Phentermine is nothing but caffeine, and the pharmacist and doctor should have told you to reduce your caffein intake. If they didnt, then it was in your package insert when you get the medicine filled.
Right now all you can do is wait it out. Rest, drink lots of water and NO MORE ENERGY DRINKS. Never, ever do that again. You are going to cause yourself to have heart problems do to the excessive amount of caffeine.
Then a week or so later I get some phentermine diet pills and do the same, use/abuse a few days then trash. This has been going on since late January. Before that I battled with pain med abuse for well over a year. I've not had pain meds since Jan of this year. I like the speedy feeling of the vyvanse and phentermine, but not the lack of sleep, dry mouth and other side effects. I want to get out of this cycle!
