My favorite thing to bring to the hospital is my pillow and a funky pillow case. You love having the extra pillow and the pillow case can get ruined so dont bring your good one. Another nice thing to bring is socks. they usually give you a pair, but it is nice having a long pair if you want to cover more of your legs. Plus I get the crazy striped ones! Oh! And a really girly smelling soap for the shower and a nice shampoo. It is really nice to get clean afterwards.

I was going to discuss this with my dentist tomorrow. I am also looking for a specialist, but have no idea how to find one. I mean what kind of specialist do I ask for, and who do I ask? My current dentist? Any other thoughts with these other details?

I've never been to six flags, does it have any rides other than roller coasters? I just went toan amusement park a few weeks ago and I discussed with my midwife what rides I could ride (if any). Her advice to me was that if I would feel comfortable holding my newborn in my arms during the ride that it was probably safe. BUT don't go by that! Ask your provider about your case and circumstances!

You might want to take two bags one for all your items and one for the baby:) Some stuff I have packed (depends on how long your staying in the hospital) were: a loose shirt and loose pants for after labor(also loose/comfortable underwear&bra), slippers or socks, house coat, deodorant, soap and shampoo cause you get a chance to clean up after, pads and lots of them!

I am also a first time mommy, my sister had always used pack N plays and the kids love it. I however didn't like the idea of it, so I bought a 4 in 1 crib. Maybe try looking into one of them. Newborn/infant crib, toddler bed, twin bed, then finally turns into full size bed.
