I was on Percocet 10/325mg about a week with 180 pills which lasted about 1 1/2 weeks so i dont know if i will get a double whammy from that. I have been on various pain meds. for about 6 yrs now and want to find out if my pain is coming from the meds and my head or if it's that bad anymore. I was in a ATV accident and had several injuries but have problems with my back and left shoulder mainly. I been to 6 painmngmt, clinics and one pain specialist.
I've been gone for here for a long time. Most of my MS-like symptoms have waned, just as they did last year in the fall after a long summer. I also met someone recently who told me he had to stop taking Wellbutrin (which I'm on) because it gave him tremors (which I have) and made his legs unsteady when he walked down stairs (which just started happening to me--the scariest 'symptom' I've had besides the double vision). So maybe that's an explanation?
I have NEVER used amphetamines, Percocet was my drug of choice. I am also taking wellbutrin, robitussin, vicks inhaler, and vistaril. I researched and found that the wellbutrin can cause a false positive as well as the robitussn and vicks. My dr flat refused a refill and now I'm terrified I will withdrawal and put this baby in jeopardy. He sent off for a more thorough drug screen but told me it would be 3 days.

m on 10mg of Prozac and have noticed some weight gain within the past 2 months or so and my doctor has suggested I start taking Wellbutrin along with the Prozac but my biggest concern is having panic attacks. I suffer from panic disorder w/ agoraphobia and the Prozac has been helping but I'm afraid that adding on the Wellbutrin may counteract that. (I know it is considered a stimulant for a lot of people - hence the usual weight loss.
I am on Wellbutrin for the last 4 weeks and have lost 5 lbs. The way I can describe it is, I don't feel like I'm starving when I get hungry. It takes away that feeling for me. I still eat, but I eat less and feel fuller sooner.
You may not need anything but the Wellbutrin to be honest with you. I have OCD which leads to anxiety and then to depression. I was on Prozac many years ago and I tried those other drugs over the past year when it reared its ugly head again but I choose Wellbutrin. I was initially on 150 XL like you but I needed a boost when my OCD kicked into overdrive so I went to 300 XL. It did make me more jittery at first but after about 4-6 weeks, it went away and I feel GREAT!
I am on Lithium and Wellbutrin, it totally rocks for me. I love wellbutrin, I lose weight, feel peppy and over all better. Oh yeah, no sucky depression! :0) I have not heard of angry outbursts on it, but if this came about after starting wellbutrin, then I would switch to a different anti-depressent. Some people can not tolerate Wellbutrin. This is my second time using it. I used it alone before I starting having manic spells. They put me back on it after I was on Lithium for a year.
my doc at the time didnt think i would experience such a bad withdrawal reaction given that i was substituting with zoloft. i am so scared!! terrified actually!! the xanax really isnt working fo rme the way it has in the past. i still feel very nervous with it. i just need to know if there is anything else anyone can recommend to help with the anxiety and it anyone has had this experience how long will these symptoms last befoer i start feeling better on the effexor?
prescribed Wellbutrin to help me taper. I never went off them, but does anyone know if this heps with Vicodin withdrawal? I aso suffer from depression and Wellbutrin is supposed to help with that also. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Beachwalker, I have some very good news for you. I know of drug that is non-addictive and most drugs don't work on me at all and this one not only worked but it blew me away at how effective it was! The name of the drug is called Clonidine and not Kolonopin. It was originally made for high blood pressure, but don't worry, even you don't have high blood pressure, it won't hurt you.
My ultrasound test, chest Xray, treadmil test indicate problems what I assume are on the way to dialated cardiomyopathy. I.E. , heart enlargement, ventrical enlargement, wall thickening, murmur, high blood pressure and so on. Apparently the test do not indicate a problem that has risen to the level that they give it direct names, such as ischemia or cardiomyopathy. However, my Doctor is basicaly certain there is a problem that is worse then it looks.
Wellbutrin...it did the trick for me years back with I used it for un-polar. After being diagnosed BP I was on Lithium for awhile and they added in the Wellbutrin for my depression. Works great. I have more energy and feel tons better. It is the same active ingredient as Zyban and safe for BP along with a mood stabilizer.
s unclear if you mean taking the Wellbutrin with your ED (eating disorder) history or what little medical history (e.g. siezures, etc) you have mentioned?
While you didn't really ask this I think being in therapy might help with your ED especially if you no longer want to purge as it helps to know possible triggering behaviour.

If anxiety is caused by the depression, then wellbutrin might help with it. Lavender is a very weak relaxant and I wouldn't think it would interfere with much of anything. Valerian is stronger, but it targets GABA, which wellbutrin doesn't, so I would think it's okay to use it. It can cause drowsiness, and is mostly used as a sleep remedy, so be aware of that. The drug you wouldn't want to use these with would be benzos, as they target the same neurotransmitters.
I am not good at taking more than one pill per day and I know with Wellbutrin, and Wellbutrin SR, more than one is required. I would wanted a timed release anyway, with one pill only. My dr, said she looked it up in her book, and Wellbutrin XL 150mg, is only prescribed for SAD and to quit smoking. She did not want to prescribe the XL at all no mater what I said. She prescribed me Regular Wellbutrin 100mg twice per day.
