s quite painful and I am taking percocet and ibuprofen 800 to minimize the pain. I am also on antibiotics. Is there a way to manually drain the abscess?
He was out so I saw a woman Dr. She gave me antibiotics and percocet. Sain I had an infection..A week has gone by..pain less but still have it if I don't take the percocet. What next??
sliced and drained scrotum. minimal pus removed. antibiotics and percocet prescribed. today, lump is approximately 6 inches long x 2 inches wide x 1 inch thick. scrotum is size of softball. i think they diagnosed me wrong. fever is still at 100.4 even with antibiotics and lump is huge. whole area is now tender up into my abdomin. could this be possible tear in colon wall or something? havent pooped in 3 days now but that might be from the percocet. desperately need help.
I have a client that has been on Oxy for 3 years, takes two - three pills daily. Recently thought he had a kidney infection, went to the ER, after all the tests, it was inonclusive if there was a kidney infection but they gave him antibiotics. They don't seem to help. Just wondering if there is a relationship between Percocet and symptoms of kidney pain. PS he was kept for 3 days in the hospital and still has pain.
So I called my pharmacist to see if he had EVER had anyone that had a problem with combining the Fentanyl 50 mcg patch andPercocet BT meds with antibiotics specifically the Notrofur-macr. He sai he'd NEVER heard of a problem like that.
So I tried another experiment and once again took NO BT meds yesterday and took the Notrofur-macr and I DIDN'T throw up. So I'm thinking that I HAVE A PROBLEM taking the antibiotics with the BT meds.
About 5wks before op Docs started him on Vicodin,no help,went to Darvocet,no help..finally surgery, Percocet and Dilaudid THAT worked. Then home with Percocet only. Worked for a few days..back to ER Doc there gave Dilaudid Pills.Has had good recovery untill now, he has stopped Percocet cut down on Dilaudid....and is quite sick ,nauseated,weak,no appetite,loose stool.....are these withdrawal signs, is it to soon to stop meds?
Sorry I meant to say "the biggest concern is kidney function while you're passing the stone and antibiotics can help with that concern"....sorry, my brain's on vacation along with my body lol.
I had to have surgery to remove 2 large stones about 2 months ago and yikes...just remembering that fresh pain has me cringing for you. I hope you pass this stone quickly and with as little pain as possible!
May 15 I developed an abscess. They can't get me in to get the 2 teeth pulled until June 25th. The next day, my cheek was the size of a baseball and the meds weren't helping. I went to th ER. Dr numbed it, cut a slit in it, gave me dilaudid &zophran, &sent me home with vicodin. RELIEF!
June 3 it was back. I went to the dentist June 5. He couldn't see me. They called in 825mg amoxicillin 2x a day &the weakest dose of vicodin.
5. I had already started antibiotics. Finally I took a percocet. Within 30 minutes there was absolutely no pain and I could pump easily. I'm still not getting much milk from that side, but I can handle pumping fine now. And it allowed me to rest and sleep and relax which is important for healing. I can't begin to explain the relief that one percocet gave me. It kept me from giving up on making milk for my baby. I was ready to quit.

I practice urine therapy, and i just started alternating between percocet, tramadol, and ibuprofen for daily pain.
in the past 2 days, i have taken 300mg of tramadol, 3 5/325mg percocet, and 2400mg of ibuprofen.
All that is in my system and i just resumed drinking my urine again. I didnt even think to see what happens to the medication as it is digested.

now has me on 5 mg percocet. I must be hooked because if I run out 2 or 3 days before refill...I am SICK@@ I have leg jumps...sweats, chills, canot sleep, you name it! I hate this! I have had to turn to people I know and PAY for a few hich is expensive! The 30 mg oxycodone are 30.00 a pill! I have broken them in to and taken them if thats all thats out there. That lasts me until the next day. Those things are addictive! They really take away my pain asap!

I have had an ulcer on my wisdom tooth gum that has grown over the tooth and is causing me extreme discomfort. My dentist prescribed my Doxycycline 100mg and Percocet 5/325 to combat the pain. It has been over a week now and the problem has not been alleviated. I feel awkward asking my doctor for a slightly stronger pain medication considering the taboo surrounding a question such as that. I don't feel awkward asking for additional antibiotics.
I told him it would help with the pain I was having and it did. But, I had forgotten all about taking percocet until today. I looked at previous forums, but would like info for myself. I really think it will be a while before I conceive, but the thought scared me a bit on the chance that I could be pregnant. I have been on birth control since my son of 7 years. I was using the IUD, not hormonal one (My doctor removed that a month ago and I was using condoms up till the surgery).
Donna, I have no experience with percocet....I took hydrocodone, but I can tell you that if you are committed...and it sounds like you are...and you have a plan...and sounds like you do....you will beat this. Lots of people here have had percocet addictions and I am sure they will be along to give support, but I just wanted to say welcome to the forum and hang in there. When you need support, post and someone will help you. Post anyway to let us know how you are doing.
I was told I do have an infection but with different antibiotics, I am still not getting better. Go back to your dentis as soon as possible to be checked. The pain is unbearable. The percocet I was given does nothing for this pain. I cant sleep, eat or barely function at the moment.
Hi! It has been my experience that with a short acting drug like percocet, you should be over the WORST in about 3 or 4 days. Now...I'm not saying you will feel wonderful in 3 or 4 days, but the worst physical stuff will start to get better then. But, it could take up to a month to feel like you can sleep well and have energy back. Go to the health pages on the top right of the page, and read the Thomas Recipe. It has good info to help with the WDs.

If my girl finds out about this she is gone, she has dealt with this before with me and it was really really hard for her, and now i have done it again. I am so selfish and i hate myself for this. so my question is, should i tell my doctor everything (even that i have been obtaining them illegally)? Will I be able to obtain a doctors note that doesn't say im dealling with addiction?!
