I was scared and revisited the doctor. The doctor prescribed me Pataday. On using Pataday for a day, I was afraid if it could resolve the issue. I took a second opinion from a diff. Doctor. The doctor prescribed me Lotopred, Ikul, Systane ultra eye drops for every four hours a week and said not to wear lenses for 10 days. I followed the instructions and my eyes got back to normal.
I'm 17 yrs. old and every time I wear contact lenses my eyes become red and bloodshot. My left eye is a lot worse than my right one! I went to my eye doctor and he INSISTED that it was just because my eyes were dry. I have very large eyes and live in a dry climate, so I suppose that might be a factor... So I bought Systane eyedrops yesterday and have been using them since. The redness seems slightly better, but it's still there.
I am a contact lens wearer, and I continually getting eye infections, for about the past 2 years. (I've been wearing contacts for about 5 years.) My eyes get very red and become painful, and occasionally swell. I become very light-sensitive and my pupils constrict to the point where I can barely keep my eyes open. I have removed my lenses to see a mucus-like build up on several occasions. My doctor has prescribed me TobraDex in the past, which sometimes helps after a few days.
I had bad luck with that happening, unfortunately just before I stopped needing contact lenses. Just before I had cataract surgery my prescription changed to where i needed to use a different lens model in one eye, and I developed GPC bumps that remained even after I stopped wearing contact lenses (after surgery I don't need them anymore), and the bumps were irritating much of them time when I blinked for weeks.
I have NEVER had seasonal allergies before and I am 45. She prescribed Pataday. The drops have helped, but I still have symptoms, especially when I work on my computer. I returned to my optician for lens adjustments twice. I am still having a lot of difficulty. My optician says it has nothing to do with my new glasses, but it seems too coincidental. Help!
My eyes experience a mild redness (especially in the inside corners of eyes), burning, uncomfortable irritation with increased light sensitivity for the past three months that occurred initially during a trial of Xalatan (I was not wearing contact lenses at the time). I've been to three opthalmologists (one is a repected corneal/external disease specialist at university).
Having almost same problem here. One time I'm wearing contact lens, enter an air conditioned room and after about an hour my eyes looks tired and red in color. Watery also. As I leave the cold room, my eyes gradually normalizes. It happened to me twice. At air conditioned room, my eyes turns red, watery and looking tired. I then decided not to wear contact lens anymore and back in using eye glasses, but the problem still persisting.
Hi, I was diagnosed with 'Ocular Rosacea' and 'Dry Eye Syndrome'. I have used Restasis and have tried allergy drops. My eyes are always red and feel as if I have something in them (which is the bumps under my eyelids). Does anyone know what I can do about this. I've been to so many eye Dr's. and I cannot get them cleared up. I used to wear contact lenses and now I can no longer wear them. It has been almost 5 years since I was able to wear my contacts.
I do not want to wear contact lenses constantly but was wondering whether you can get some contact lenses for a one-off use on a special occasion.
This may seem silly but I really want to go to MCM London cosplaying but most characters don't wear glasses, so, like I said, I want to find out whether there is such thing as one-off contact lenses just so I have a wider choice.

Hi all, I have a question about my contact lenses. I'll try to be as thorough as possible.
I've been wearing monthly soft contact lenses for 7 years to correct myopia (-4.25 left, -3.75 right, slight astigmatism in the left eye). I'm 26 and male. Occasionally I neglected proper care by not washing my hands or wearing them beyond a month but that was the exception. Ordinarily I didn't wear them beyond the prescribed periods, nor did I sleep with them in.
The power changes for the contact lenses will not help or hurt your eyes.
The real question is which variation is most comfortable to you.
Most patients do well with the lenses which best correct both eyes individually.
However, if one has become used to better vision in one eye or the other, it can be an odd feeling to actually have the other eye "see better".
I Use Contact Lenses Regularly. I have one Progressive (1.5 Years Validity) Lences Which i Purchased 2 years Before. Now I need 2 wear it for one day. But When i Bring it from Drawer its Completly get dried. then i filled solution in the lense case and in 1 day lence got ready as new one......
So Plz Advice me in this case Sould i wear that Lences Only for ONE day, because i want to give my currently using lences for quarterly service.
hi. i wear dailies contact lenses only on special occasions. today i tried them on and i realized that i couldn't see very well far away, like reading signs because it was blurry. i made sure that i took proper steps and handled them with care but my vision was still blurry far away. i took them off and tried on my glasses and could see perfectly normal again. why would i see better with glasses then contacts. i have focus dailies with aquacomfort plus.
Contacts are very safe i would recommend getting them from a eye doctor to make sure your getting everthing coorect
