pacemaker editor install

now this doctor wants to install a pacemaker in my back to stimulate the nerves and that might help. after all of that here is my question. is there anything else that can give me some relief that doesn't involve drugs or another pacemaker in my body. maybe some type of nerve block right now I just need something. I have manned up long enough and I am tired of hurting.

I have had numerous surgeries including the Fontan in 1987 with a revision of the Fontan in 2006, where at that time I also had a Medtronic Enrhythym Pacemaker install. 3 weeks ago I had a Pacemaker replacement due to the fact my battery on my Pacemaker was running low. I had it install Feb 22th, 2012, my former one was a Medtronic Insync 8040 CRT, I had for almost 10 yrs would have been this Oct 2012. Can any one tell me WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS WITH THIS ONE?

It should not be any problem, once detected, they will re-emplace and install another one or just connect it back. The detection can be made at any ICD revision.

Where i stand The pacemaker/defib is what they would place in me. to get the heart to pump at the same time and if ever needed the defib is a incase for the worst. My suggestion is for you to take your mom to the doc. When they implanted the pacer, the tech and doc programmed the pacer to what they thought would suit your mom. Do not wait until you are at the hosptisl to install it! You may not be allowed to leave if you don't know how to properly install the seat. Hospitals have to have a special certification in order to inspect your car seat and help you install it and not all of them do (I have 6 hospitals within 1 hr of me and only 1 is certified to install car seats). Its a liability issue.

When the doctor finished he said that I had dual av node physiology and he ablated as close to the av node that he thought he could get without ablating av node and he didnt want to install a pacemaker.
