I got my blood test done and pregnancy test done and everything came out good but got prescribed metformin, progesterone, and 3 month supply of Tri-Sprintec for a regulation of my period. i finished my sprintec 7 day placebo pills on sat 18th May and due to refill issues was not able to start my new pack with active pills until 29th May. I started the pack like normal and have continued to take so. However between the 19th until now (June 10th) I have had unprotected sex. I just started using the birth control Sprintec a week ago. I had a stroke on Monday. I cannot walk well, but other than that I have recovered quickly. I will be 20 on Saturday. I am only 19. which was about 3 months ago I started taking Tri-Sprintec birth-control and I had an AWFUL reaction to it and turns out I was allergic to the high dosage of the acne-clearer in it. Last month I switched to YAZ. Hello, if a person takes their birth control (Tri Sprintec) every night at 9pm, but forgets to take it at 9pm one night and has sex from 930pm to 1030pm, and then remembers to take it again at 12 midnight (3 hours late),

I am going to be going on vacation in October and of course my period is expected to start right in the middle of the trip. I am on tri sprintec, which I realize is a triphasic pill so there are different hormones every week. I know if I skip the sugar pills then start a new pack that I will most likely have break through bleeding.
ok i have a question. I take sprintec birth control.On saturday, I had a doctors appt and somehow forgot to take my birth control pill... and had sex that night.. but we used a condom. The next day when I took my birth control pill, I didn't realize that I was taking a white pill(instead of the blue pill which corresponded with Sunday). I didn't realize this until Monday at work, when I was going to take my pill for Monday and realized that Sunday's pill was there as well.
I was on Ortho Tri for nine years, no problems. After switching to sprintec, the pills no longer worked. I was having periods while on the active pills and my vulva became dry and irritated (like a knife stabbing it). I can't get the pain to go away. Anyone else with this problem?
Yesterday my dermatologist prescribed me 25mg Spironolactone 2xD and Tri-Sprintec BCP to help clear my skin up. I trust her judgement with placing me on both of those medications, but what worries me is that it may be too much of a hormone change for my body. I know that birth control pills increase estrogen levels in the body and that spironolactone is an antiandrogen drug, and naturally the body will replace androgens with estrogen.
