If youre miserable and need to eat for baby, take it. My advice is try to only take it when u really need it, not on a regular basis. Stop as soon as symptoms ease up. Lots of water too.

Yes, in MOST cases it works, and most cases works wonders, it is the generic for Zofran, I have been off and on Zofran most my life due to GI disorders which cause severe nausea/vomiting and Zofran, or it's generic, has been a godsend for that AND for my morning sickness in both my first pregnancy and my current one.

Ondansetron is the generic for Zofran. Why would you refuse it? It's safe to take or your Dr wouldn't prescribe it to you. There's other meds out there if you don't want to take it. My Dr gave me Diclegis. It helped take the edge off the nausea.

No abnormalities were noted in the offspring of these two women. Ondansetron is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.

So they have me phenigran(fenigran) and it works wonders. The only down side to that is out makes you pretty sleepy. Luckily for me my morning sickness was mostly at night so that worked out for me!

All I know is they do not prescribe it to one indivodual in large quantities and that bc it can affect and stay in your blood for so long they have to monitor how much an individual gets. Like if youve used it the last 6 months, ondansetron is one of two or three prescribed pills that eliminate you as a donor for plasma, blood, or other things.

If yo I feel like that is beacuase something dint set right on your stomach. What I know it ok but just make sure u drink plenty of water. If the keep feeling like that for more then 3 days I will recomend seeing your doctor and asking for some meds. Take care and good luck..

When you can't sleep from the withdrawals, I've been told that Trazadone is a good choice for sleep because it isn't a controlled substance, etc. What is the story with this medication?

prescriptions are always going to be different for everyone depending on what medically is going on with them other than hcv treatment but some of it is the same. maybe someone who is wondering might see something they havnt tried yet and could ask their doc about it.

I am considering the use of Zofran for tardive dyskinesia. I have developed severe forms of tardive dyskinesia from tardive myoclonus to tardive psychosis (this condition itself is still under investigation but a psychiatric researcher from Columbia will be following it up). I acquired this condition from the long term use of antipsychotics but was unable to tolerate Clozaril and am on an experimental antipsychotic in FDA study glycine under the care of a psychopharmocologist.

Hi there, Ondansetron is used for treating vomiting. Constipation, dizziness and headache are the most commonly reported side effects associated with its use.
