Ondansetron is Zofran hun. Its just the generic name for zofran. Even though theres a lawsuit, id say its more of a money maker. I took it both pregnancies and my babies came out fine. Youve got to look at whether the benefits outweigh the risk with ANY medication. If youre miserable and need to eat for baby, take it. My advice is try to only take it when u really need it, not on a regular basis. Stop as soon as symptoms ease up. Lots of water too.
t take it. That medication is an off brand name for Zofran. I just saw a commercial that it has side effects on pregnancies and can cause miscarriages. I was taking it until now and I'm 33 weeks pregnant. Mine was only 4 mg but I took about 10 or 11 pills so that's 40-44mg. I don't trust this medication even tho it's for morning sickness and nausea.
Ondansetron 4mg the disolve on ur tounge the taste fruity and one a day keep the sickness away!
Ondansetron is the generic for Zofran. Why would you refuse it? It's safe to take or your Dr wouldn't prescribe it to you. There's other meds out there if you don't want to take it. My Dr gave me Diclegis. It helped take the edge off the nausea.
There are different types of zofran (brand name). I took the kind that dissolve in your mouth with my first pregnancy and they didn't do a whole lot for me. 2nd preg I had the kind you swallow--no dissolving. It worked for vomiting (was vomiting every 30 mins without them) but caused horrible constipation. I had to cut the pills in half and quarters to deal with constipation. Good luck!
This medicine, in the U.S., goes by the brand name Zofran. It is commonly used with chemo patients who experience nausea. There are older anti-emetics (Promethazine is one). I'm not a doctor, so I can't recommend any drugs; you should talk to your prescribing physician.

Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? What do you guys use? I just want to save money but I don't want my baby to have to be soaked in it's poop and pee because I cut corners on diapers. Advice please!
I agree, get some Zofran/Ondansetron. It works wonders. This is why they give to cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery patients. It is in a class of medications called 5-HT3 receptor antagonists and works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance that may cause nausea and vomiting. I just got a bottle of 30 Ondansetron on Medicare for $5.
There are also other similar meds you can take so you should find a solution and not have to deal with what you have been.

Case reports have described two women who have received ondansetron during pregnancy for life-threatening hyperemesis gravidarum. No abnormalities were noted in the offspring of these two women. Ondansetron is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
Zofran/Ondansetron is also used in pregnancy. I felt safe using this during pregnancy as I have known more women who have used it without any problems. it's a newer drug and works very well without the sedating side effects that promethazine can have. Here is the FDA information too.

I took Ondansetron. They're generic for Zofran.. They were 8mg dissolvable tablets & they worked great ! I never had any morning sickness but on the days I didn't feel good, these really helped.
It is possible, Thyroid meds are funny, what works well for one does not work well for others, I was on (Generic) Levothyroxine for six months and my labs did not budge, then went to Synthroid (brand Name) and had better sucess, my endo claimed that generics were not as consistant as name brand. Pharmacy said they are the same? So the change may have made a difference, some times the fillers they use can cause issues also.
m going to save myself $200 and try to trust the generic, or buy the brand name again. Its just nice, a rare luxury for me to have a brand name medication of any kind and its the most important one for me. I trust the original maker very much. And here's my argument on the whole generic thing. Sure the FDA Tested a batch of each clonazepam generic maker's pills, but it has to be understood that not every single pill or batch can be tested.
I've read all the comments here and today I called a refill in for Brand Name Klonpin...I've been taking the generic for years. I will post back and let you know if I feel a difference.
So originally i had the name Tailyn && my mom chose the middle name L'orèal && my bf is letting me choose the name. But he told me recently that L'orèal is much cutter && i should switch it. Idk What do you think???
Hello, my name is Alexandra and I'm a 24 year old Female. (97 lbs and 5'3") I was diagnosed with GERD 7 years ago (after vomiting Blood) and H. Pylori in Feb 2017. I have taken all the antibiotics given to me (multiple times) but I'm still in great pain and discomfort. I've become a health nut, cut out Gluten/Milk, and quit drinking alcohol completely.
