When i got out i was feeling alot better i had antibiotics, omeprazole, and loperamide for one week. After I finished my meds i went to a party and drank a lot of alchohol on a saturday night, monday came along and my stomach was still feeling fine, so i went to another party and drank alcohol. By wednesday morning my stomach was feeling really bad It was empty and i vomited green liquid. My stool suddenly changed light brown and my stomach hurts everytime i moved.

One brother actually was foolish enough to ignore it and put up with the pain that he developed ulcers, which have mostly healed now that he is taking Omeprazole and such. My Intestines also get worked up in a knot with pain at times. I've woken up in the middle of the night after forgetting to eat before sleep with HORRIBLE acid pain. I'll drink down a glass of water/alka-seltzer and sometimes throw up everything because it hurts so bad. I can even taste how acidic the vomit is.

Can you explain how many loperamide a day you were taking? Loperamide is an opioid receptor agonist, and you were taking it for a long time, so it very well could be the cause of your nausea.How are you feeling now, btw? I just googled to look at this - I didn't see specific answers about getting off loperamide. Have you considered tapering? If I see anything else, will post what there is.

Bupe is great for a break from the rush and euphoria to give time to build aftercare and deal with some of the reasons we use, but it is an opioid. What is your plan with the bupe, are you building a support system and coping skills? That is what will save you. Had I only used bupe and nothing else, I would be dead by now. So, what's your plan or are you here to get advice about a plan?

The last 1 and half, was all high doses of loperamide to starve off withdrawal. I started having major issues while I was still taking, so I still didn't know if it was withdrawal while I was taking the loperamide or what. I just am really scared. I know a lot of people here have been so kind and nice always responding and calming me down. I have for 10 years taken 10 mg of Lexapro to starve off panic attacks and it has worked great. The only time I have issues is during withdrawal.

go to drugstore and get few bottles of loperamide. it will greatly help w/ the wd's symptoms. do a search on loperamide and wd's and you'll find more info. the traz will help you sleep (just don't stay on it too long). but please remember that after 11 days if you do not really NEED to restart the pills, don't. you'll be detoxed by then, free, out of chemical jail.

s patients usually have low or no acid which makes me concerned about taking this. And I read about ensuring you space out when you take omeprazole. I also have low ferritin and was taking iron, which I saw online is contradicted. Does anyone have experience with taking this?

5 days clean of loperamide and what I,have read it could be a lot worse. I have been having to take seroquel low dose and 2 Tylenol pm just to get some sleep. I awoke at 430 with the nerve flight or fight in my arms and chest. I just laid there and prayed til about 830 sleeping a total of about 45 more minutes. Right now its at bay, but I can feel it in the background.I am wondering if it is from the loperamide wd or if it's the increase from 10 to 20 lexapro.

I have been having tingling in my hands and feet and face. Out of whim I tried some b12 today, and it went away, but did come back a little later, but not bad. A few OTC meds that help aid with the withdrawls are benadryl it helps aid with sleep and anxiety also immoidum(loperamide) for runs and believe it or not will help aid the withdrawl in higher doses(ive read stories of heroin addicts using a loperamide taper withdrawl program) of course some tylenol or ibuprofen for pain just to name a few.

I have never heard of that. The immodium will only help with the diareah and the loperamide only helps in the gut with the receptors. If anyone knows different, I hope they will post. I have been told that it may help with the w/d not increase the duration of w/d. I really couldn't tell that it helped me or not. Hi. I am taking omeprazole for laryngopharyngeal reflux for the past 2 days. I am supposed to take two pills daily, one before breakfast and one before dinner. Today, i started having this feeling that food is stuck in my chest and back of my throat but I don't have any problems swallowing. It is an uncomfortable feeling in my chest. I did not have this symptom prior to starting the drug. Is this a side effect of the drug?

Is it possible for this to be a side effect from Omeprazole? And how long does it take to get out of your system? I have heard it could take 3 months and I have heard it won't take longer than a week??

Now due to the pregnancy, it seemed to worsen as I experience painful heartburns. My doctor recommends I take omeprazole along with antacids. I've been taking antacids because I know they don't bare side effects on pregnancy. I am not sure though with omeprazole. I'm scared. I am afraid it might harm the baby. t correct the underlying problem, but it can alleviate a good deal of the pain associated with ulcers by reducing the amount of stomach acid (the actual substance causing the pain). Omeprazole and other PPIs can and do give ulcer patients a better quality of life while they heal.

I get up and have 2 or 3 cups of tea with sugar, should wait a 1/2 after taking the medicine before drinking the tea?

I was taking Omeprazole for acid reflux. I was recently going on eight weeks of taking it. I too WAS suffering from dry mouth and tongue and a severe burning sensation in my throat that was getting worse. I feared the worst, waking up with severe dry mouth, panic attacks as to what was happening. I couldnt even make a drop of saliva. I stopped taking the omeprazole last night. For the first time in weeks i slept like a baby.

What did me in was a short run of adderall and then instant depression. i am feeling better, but i have been taking loperamide to help with wds. i am posting this not give you ideas on how to not have wds, but to warn you. do not buy into the loperamide lie. if you dont know what i am talking about, then i am not going to say. there are those who do know. i am now taking 20 a day and now i have to taper off them. i dont have a taper schedule so if anyone knows one great.
