Daily medicine is Omeprazole taken everyday for 3 years and Allegra everday for 2 years. Two years ago I started to have migraines. The first one I had was in the middle of work. It just came on out of nowhere and didn't last long but returned a few minutes later. Which began a cycle of what I thought was cluster headaches. I would get stabbing pains for about a minute or two then a few minutes of relief. This would last for about an hour.
Over the last 3 years, she has been on drugs like Thyronorm 100 mg(Thyroxine sodium ), OXCQ (Hydroxychloroquine), Tacko M (Omeprazole ), Nilitis (Nabumetone ) etc. During this time she has lost some hair, and skin complexion has become darker.
About 4 months' back, she had skin eruptions mainly on her legs which was a suspected (on visual observation) to be psoriasis in the beginning. She used some skin ointments presescribed by the skin specialist and the eruptions went away.

After a week with no alcohol or Tylenol it went up to 97 a weeks later 170. I then spotted omeprazole for 10 days and it was at 106. I just had a liver ultrasound and everything came back normal. What can the problem be? Can omeprazole cause this?
I think the dose reduction was the wrong direction. Muscle aches and joint pain are frequently associated with hypothyroidism. Hair loss does not occur immediately upon a dose change like that. I expect that even your prior dose was too low. Your latest results are certainly too low in the ranges, since your Free T4 is only at 36% of its range and Free T3 at 45% of its range.
I just finished Sovaldi and olysio and no hair loss at all, in fact hair looked great
I do have hypothyroid which is familial, mother , daughters have it,

I have seen a local Derm who said there was no scarring on my scalp and no real skin issues associated with my hair loss. In 2004 I took a course of Roaccutane for acne and noticed some thinning after the course finished. I was told that this was a known side effect, but that the hair would grow back. It has been over four years!!! My hair is uniformly thinned out across the entire scalp.
m natural with no chemicals in my hair and I have never had a problem with hair loss. I went from thick long hair to thin short hair. This is so sad. I'm not sure what to do because my skin has really cleared up from Doryx but if I continue to take it I will be bald with pretty skin! Not a great combination! Thanks for reviews!

Most people normally shed 50 to 100 hairs a day and this amount of hair loss should not cause noticeable thinning of the scalp hair. Hair thinning and loss could be due to increased rate of shedding compared to the rate of regrowth. This could be due to: hormonal changes, poor nutrition, diseases, certain medications, infections and stress.
