We have our Westie on a sweet potato fish formula kibble and I wonder if it could be improved by breaking open a one human (the type we may take 3 or more of a day) fish oil capsule and drizzle it over the main kibble meal. Yes, I have read the advice on feeding some canned food too, and am working my way up to that.
Avatar f tn Sorry, forgot about the omega 7 oils. These are found in fish oil, along with the omega 3 oils, but in the process of isolating the oil the heat used will often kill them off. There's a new fish oil supplement by New Chapter that supposedly doesn't kill them off. As to their effectiveness for your vaginal health, I don't know. I do know that evening primrose oil is helpful for that, but again, have no idea if that will do anything to rid you of an infection.

Avatar n tn My son was this same way when he was between 4 & 5 years old. Doctors wanted to put him on lithium or depakote but I refused due his age and the possibility of organ damage. If he needs it later in life then we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Behavior like this can be a symptom of an essential fatty acid deficiency. I started my son on Efalex in May 1999 and within two weeks his rages, tantrums, and out of control behavior stopped. He has been taking Efalex ever since.

I would ask your Vet to treat for yeast. There are fungal medications by presription and he/she could prescribe one. Now, on your part: NO, Do not remove any nasal fold. That is unnecessary pain and surgery for him! Do a search on things to avoid for yeast problems.
Avatar m tn That's late in the game, and certainly no basis for decided whether the omega-3's prevented or caused their cancer. Remember that half the men in this study came down with prostate cancer. Consider someone who's never bothered much with supplements and then learns he has cancer. In a panic he starts taking lots of vitamin C, vitamin E — the whole gamut of supplements, including fish oil. It's a good thing to do.
Avatar m tn NOT sure about that, but I did hear that that sensation in the legs is a symptom of that, and that in some cases, the skin crawling sensation can occur all over the body, not just the legs, and still be considered RLS. Undecided about RLS possibility. The only other things I have going on that MAY be related, is an upper back pain/numbness... unknown cause. Been going on for years though. No diagnosis. So basically I'm out of ideas, and about to go insane.

They also seem to think the red dots under my skin are thrush. When I use the creams they disappear so maybe I get reinfected due to poor skin. So definitely I will use this cream for a while. Also.

I think at least some of the problem is from the weight loss, which makes some sense. I figure if I exercise my arms, it'll "pick up" some of the slack, so to speak! As far as cipro and levaquin - have you been really sick lately? These antibiotics are often given for heavyduty infections. So maybe your issues will resolve when your body regains balance?
