Is there any reasons to prefer or take losartan above olmesartan or the olmesartan above losartan. Person taking these is african, 57 years, female and oh, my mother.
Morning - Olmesartan (H) 40mg, Metoprolol Succinate Extended Release 25mg; Evening - Olmesartan 40mg, Metoprolol Succinate Extended Release 25mg.
Now, I have been further prescribed for 30 days, which I have started taking: Eltroxin 25mg empty stomach & Zyloric 100mg after breakfast. Kindly advise further.
Diuretics? I have been on Benicar (olmesartan) for many years, works very nicely. Amlodipinealso said to work nicely but may diminish your taste reception.
Initially was put on temisartan 40mg by Doc, used it for 3-4 months and later dosage was reduced to 20mg but later switched to another medicine, olmesartan medoxomil hydrochlorothiazide (20+12.5) and since then using the same tablet till recently My readings were pretty normal and infact my doc was convinced and wanted to reduce my dosage to only olmesartan medoxomil. Of late i have developed severe anxiety disorder and panic attacks, so started using Inderal 20 on the advice of Psychiatrist.
He changed my meds and prescribed 40mg olmesartan while waiting for the results to ease the symptoms. After 3 days, chest pain and
shortness of breath was significantly reduced however I became dizzy when standing from sitting or lying down position. Doctor said orthostatic hypotension but was probably
just dehydrated. Tried to cut the dose to 20mg and dizziness went away but the chest pain came back. So went back to 40mg.
Tests came back. ECG normal. Echocardiogram, normal ventricles.
OK, so I recently developed a cough that's dry, and feels bronchial in nature. I think it might be related to a new medication I started (olmesartan); however, I'm more interested in the pain that I get in my arm. I've had it in the past when I had similar coughs.
It's a very specific, sharp pain that occurs only in the left arm above the elbow. It's positioned medially along the bicep near the distal biceps tendon almost to where the triceps is.
s not uncommon to have dizziness, you may want to as your doctor to try another. I prefer Angiotensin II antagonist drugs such as Olmesartan. They have a completely different mechanism and usually have fewer side effects. Don;t give up, your doctor can find one that works well for you with minimal side effects.
white male in generally good health, maybe 5 or 10 lbs overweight, with well-controlled hypertension, no family history of bad diseases. Ordinarily, I take benicar (medoximil olmesartan) 20 mg to control my BP, which is normally in the range of 110--130 / 70--80. I measure my BP at home using an Omron Intellisense meter. I do a brisk 2.5 mile walk several times a week, and I also go to the gym, usually 1x or 2x/week.
LABETHOLOL 200MG, AMLODIPINE, THAZIDE, OLMESARTAN, SPIRONALDACTONE 50 M. ATORVASTATIN 40MG. WAS DOING OK, BUT LATELY HAVE DIFFICULTY ON EXERTION. DULL ACHE FEELING STARS IN BACK, DOWN BOTH ARMS, TOP OF CHEST AND ACHE IN NECK/JAW AFTER CONTINUING TO WALK. i KNOW IT SOUNDS LIKE ANGINA, BUT HAD A ANGIO A YEAR AGO AND WAS OK REGARDING BLOCKAGES VALVES ETC. AT THE TIME MY EF WAS BAD 15%, BUT WITH THE BP UNDER CONTROL IT CAME BACK TO 40%.

I'm so glad to know that based on your liver treatment experience, BP can and do go down afterwards. I told my husband to ask his MD to prescribe him anti-hypertensive meds. He's now on ACE inhibitors: Olmesartan 20 mg, once daily... I'm really praying that he will get even better BP readings after his treatment for his Hep C...
Go cheese and milk free for 3 months and see the difference. My case is severe so I still take one med only. For me I have good experience with olmesartan generic also known as olmetec. TALK to your doctor to lower your meds and do lifestyle and changes in diet to improve blood and heart health.
Yep...I have a very curved cervix, and honestly...brought tears to my eyes on each IUI's and water u/s! Def take some tylenol before you go and you will probably cramp and spot afterwards. My doc now has a "roadmap" to help guide him. Good luck! Oh, and he told me why it is so hard to get the catheter in...it hits the cervix and can't curve where needed...so they really have to work it around...that is what causes all the pain.
