Avatar m tn Morning - Olmesartan (H) 40mg, Metoprolol Succinate Extended Release 25mg; Evening - Olmesartan 40mg, Metoprolol Succinate Extended Release 25mg. Now, I have been further prescribed for 30 days, which I have started taking: Eltroxin 25mg empty stomach & Zyloric 100mg after breakfast. Kindly advise further.
Avatar n tn If your doctor still thinks everything is okay, then try support socks/stockings. I've been on BP meds, including olmesartan/hydrochlorothiazide, and I still need to wear support socks. I have a pair for light support and a pair for moderate support for days when I'll be on my feet a lot. This also helps my ankle pain. Just a thought.
Avatar m tn He changed medication (after using it for 3 years) to olmesartan medoxomil amlodipine (20+5) and said he will try and titrate medication until the desired levels are achieved. He asked me not to check bp at home and relax and asked me to stop taking Inderal. Please tell me if i am in some real danger, i am unable to calm myself down. Why did my blood pressure shot up suddenly and stayed put at those levels!!!
Avatar m tn He changed my meds and prescribed 40mg olmesartan while waiting for the results to ease the symptoms. After 3 days, chest pain and shortness of breath was significantly reduced however I became dizzy when standing from sitting or lying down position. Doctor said orthostatic hypotension but was probably just dehydrated. Tried to cut the dose to 20mg and dizziness went away but the chest pain came back. So went back to 40mg. Tests came back. ECG normal. Echocardiogram, normal ventricles.
2009161 tn?1327915695 My doctor prescribed me to have olmesartan 20 mg per day, however as it is an ARB (Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker), I have been having it since 3 years, I have a strange feeling in the morning of pain in chest and goes away in seconds. Please advice if ACE inhibitors at the age of 35 is good for me?
Avatar m tn Listen to soothing music as often as possible. Eat healthy, walk with a friend regular (morning and evening) and most of all meditate and pray.
Avatar n tn Thank you for your advice. I have asked numerous times. The answer I get is so that they can see which one works and that is why they are giving her the Klonipin so that is doesn't cause her to have seizures. I just found out they released her today, she isn't ready and she still has all of those meds. I have anxiety as well and take just Lexapro. I think it is too much!! Thanks again.
Avatar m tn OK, so I recently developed a cough that's dry, and feels bronchial in nature. I think it might be related to a new medication I started (olmesartan); however, I'm more interested in the pain that I get in my arm. I've had it in the past when I had similar coughs. It's a very specific, sharp pain that occurs only in the left arm above the elbow. It's positioned medially along the bicep near the distal biceps tendon almost to where the triceps is.
14250615 tn?1436461895 If his BP is normal in or high in the morning, give him 10mg of Olmesartan and then recheck early evening. If it has raised, give the other 10mg.
Avatar m tn Hello, I African American male in my 40's that have been dealing with my blood pressure running 140/ 90 for a while my doctor put me on Losartan HCTZ 50- 12.5 and my pressure. After my 6 months check up my pressure was still the same so he increased my Losartan to 100-12.5 and a few weeks after I would get readings of 130 /80 sometimes and others I would get 129/78.
Avatar f tn ve experienced several in the past few years, and my doc is unable to explain them. When I have them, I have no other symptoms. These spikes have been fairly high for a week or so--most recently, around 180/100--then slowly returning to normal over the next month or 2. When I am experiencing a spike, I add amlodipine 5 mg as needed (prescribed by MD). I've tested negative for the most obvious cause, pheo--pheochromocytoma, a tumor of the adrenal gland: blood work and MRI shows nothing.
Avatar m tn Before the Losartan, I was taking 90 mgs of Armour (which is T3 AND T4) daily. After just a few weeks on the Losartan, I became hyperthyroid for a while, and my doctor lowered my dose of Armour (down to 60.) I have not noticed heat intolerance, but I am losing weight--slowly (which I don't mind as I am about 20 lbs over bikini-wearing level.) Never heard of the Marshall protocol, but I'm going to look it up!
Avatar m tn In concordance, VDR expression and activity are associated with immunity against certain infections and with the prevalence ofsome autoimmune diseases. In animal models 1,25(OH)2D3 has been shown to prevent development of autoimmune diseases. This includes experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), the animal model for MS (Mayne et al., 2011). EAE studies performed in VDR-KO animals (Bouillon et al., 2008) or in animals with a dysfunctional VDR (Mayne et al.
18814286 tn?1468326748 ) I took the Xanax types pills for 3-4 months but decided to quit as they made me foggy and lazy. With time I reduced my weight and now I am 82. My BP in morning time in 120-128/77-82. I still take Med i.e. Olmisarten 20. The problem is that I check my BP more than 50 times a day. I check it while I am driving or working. 5265383 tn?1669040108 I am very sensitive to meds, and don't want to google this because I don't want to know what the possible side effects of this med are ... don't want to be looking for them. But I have one thing going on, and I can't imagine that it is a side effect ... can anyone help? I take 20 mg ... and I am SO THIRSTY ... even getting up in the middle of then night for a couple of cups of water. After first pill (yesterday) I think I drank 6 cups of water between dinner and bed.
Avatar f tn Hey Leigh, here's what the MP site said when I ran it through their calculator: http://mpkb.mp-dev.com/doku.php/home:tests:vitdinterpretation " Feedback on vitamin D results 25-D: 27 ng/ml 1,25-D: 74 pg/ml Steroids/TNF drugs: Yes Olmesartan: No An interpretation of 1,25-D are only marginally useful after a patient has taken corticosteroids, anti-fungals, or TNF-alpha drugs in the last 60 days.
Avatar m tn its way too entalied to do here. go to 'pubmed central' and do a search on it. just put in the marshall protocol. the doctors name is trevor marshall and he or staff will email you back most of the time with answers to your questions. his protocol uses regular prescription drugs and he doesnt make a dime on any of them. he is not selling anything! he just believes that the medical community has taken the wrong tack on the treatment or a certain number of diseases.
Avatar f tn Studies have indeed show that high blood glucose may predispose to cancer and cancer cells primarily run on glucose. Views on this are diverse and while further studies may need to be done, it is still up to the patient to take this. Westernized approach of cancer has involved chemotherapy and medications while eastern medicine have been employing dietary approach in management of diseases for a long time. Discuss this with your doctors for proper management. Take care and best regards.
Avatar m tn I am afraid of the idea of having penile cancer but am only 18 and the last time I had sex was 3.5 months ago. I have have had a painless red rash around my urethra and part of the head of the penis for almost 2 months. I'm worried because STD tests came back negative so I'm wondering if it is HPV that has manifested it into a cancer?
Avatar f tn This is a forum on Ovarian Cancer, and as such, you will probably not find your answer here. You would probably have better luck if you asked your question in the Gynocology, Women's Health, or Pregnancy forums. Good luck to you.
435139 tn?1255460391 As you might already know, I had a mc in Dec. My cycles haven't regulated yet and I'm not 100% sure that I have ovulated each month (this month I didn't get a pos. opk...last month I did...my cm isn't coinciding with my fertility friend tempings that say I ov'd...etc.) SO my doctor had said to me in February that if my cycles weren't normal in a couple months that she could give me something to help me out with regularity and ov'ing...
Avatar f tn I could be mistaken - but I have looked the evidence over and talked with people here and the theory of RAI and cancer you talk about is reversed. I as an RAI patients back in 2003 was recently informed by an ENT that people that do have RAI - that develop nodules are at a higher risk on the nodule being carcimona. That is not very enlightening for me b/c they found I do have a solid nodule now. I am on Armour - no there is no blood. //// yuckie..... Graves speeds up your body.
Avatar f tn I think it would be best to google and get informed about sugar's effect upon cancer--as there are numerous and valid studies that are contrary to the doctor's response, here. my oncologist agrees that cancer indeed likes sugar and thrives on it. sugar also suppresses the immune system.. there are so many varied opinions--and each is subjective. you must go within to find the answer that is right for YOU--it's your body, your life.
194838 tn?1303428544 I don,t know if anybody has seen this before , a friend sent it to me it is about the findings of an Italian Oncologist in relation to his findings that cancer is a fungus and to treat it is very simple. I found it very interesting . Angihttp://www.know-the-cause.com/Shows/TullioSimonciniMDWithDougKaufmann/tabid/109/Default.aspx ALSO: www.cancerfungus.
Avatar n tn I feel pressure all the time too. Can anyone tell me if you have a high risk of getting cancer if you have had cysts and endo in past? Thanks!
