Avatar f tn Find a clinical trial and work at a company with group insurance. You can find clinical trials on clinicaltrials.gov. they will supply the medications at no cost if you want to try to clear the virus. Hep C is pre-existing condition for any individual policy, however on group insurance it is not. So if you get insurance through a comapny even after being diagnosed you should be okay.
Avatar f tn No i had to wait it out n if i seen a dr it would have cost me money up front
Avatar f tn I have great health insurance but I just needed to hear what other people have had to pay even with insurance coverage. I am looking at the pros and cons of both treatments and honestly have to pay $25/month for my nuva ring for who knows how many years isnt trumping surgery right now. So any past experience or knowledge would help!

713012 tn?1229536099 However, if they did give you a diagnosis, then you would have a pre-existing condition, which no insurance company is going to cover. You should get insurance ASAP. Borrow money if you have to. The maintenance medicine alone costs $400 a month.
Avatar n tn jordy is right, she may have spent lots on filling in her gaps had she waited and lost her teeth. listen, i bet you have an ipod-cost of a cleaning. go to a concert-cost of xrays. my point is we all can put some money away every month for our cleanings. take $20 out of every check and put it in your dental fund. $10 if that is all you can afford. that is 2 fast food lunches or a movie. take care of your teeth, you may just live to be 100!
Avatar n tn I have no insurance, but need the thyroid uptake scann. A not too distant hospital charges $580 for the procedure. It that price about the going rate? I live in the midwest.
Avatar f tn Not sure where you live but in CA there are clinics that offer prenatal care at little to no cost for people without insurance. You should see if your state has something similar. Just be sure to take prenatal vitamins.

889551 tn?1416184483 Lexi is nine months old now, and I quit birth control three or four months ago because I tried the NuvaRing and hated it (my cervix was really low when I put it in, and it made it uncomfortable). This month I had spotting at ovulation, and I didn't think anything of it until DH told me that the condom had broke two days before the spotting started. At 8 dpo I started spotting and have been spotting brown and red ever since.
Avatar f tn I am in my 13th week and I still haven't seen a doctor because I have no insurance and cannot get insurance until November 14 because of Obama care. I am really stressed. I've been taking a prenatal vitamin since I found out but I have a history of preterm birth so I am very worried. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do until I get insurance?
Avatar m tn Just call an ob, most take self pay with no problem. We dont have insurance either, and have no problem getting care. Our doctor doesnt bill till after delivery, then you can set up payment arangments with the hospital. I wouldnt do the er necause that will cost you a fortune!
Avatar f tn The cost of post-transplant drugs depends on your health insurance coverage and if the meds are on their formulary. You can call your insurance company and they can give you the exact prices now. Keep in mind formularies can change usually during end of year and beginning on year. So what is covered now may not be covered next year. Also many post-transplant drugs have generic versions. Liver transplant centers usually have their own preferences for drugs and generic or not.
Avatar n tn My husband has no insurance. He has been in A-fib, off and on, since 1997. He has been converted several times. Most recently his doctor told him that real damage is being done to his heart and he needs to pursue the ablation. Is there anywhere in the country that does them for a reasonable price?
1036535 tn?1278502599 I am going to pull my records and tell you - I know there is no way my LP cost that much. It was done in the doctor's office and not a hospital, and that was not quite two years ago. Wow. That $$$ amount is crazy. You can get a hip replacement or two or three heart bypasses for that price. something must be wrong with this figure. I would check it out.
Avatar f tn Insurance usually picks up the cost of this. Double check but I doubt you'll notice an out of pocket expense if you have health insurance if you do it at the hospital.
Avatar n tn However, I am a contractor with no insurance available to me at this time . I make approximately $52K per year before taxes.
