nitrostat storage

Hi there, Non-urgent question - sent to my cardiologist but he's out of town for a few days. I'm on Isosorbide mononitrate ( generic Imdur ) 30mg once a day, and I have an active scrip for Nitrostat as well, to treat my angina. If ever needed, can a Nitrostat SL be taken when I'm already on Isosorbide Mononitrate without harmful effect?

I was dx w/CHF in 2014. I've had 3 heart attacks & my ef was about 15 about 6 months ago. I don't take any cardiac med w/the exception nitrostat when needed bcuz I also have ALS. The 2 illnesses r completely unrelated according to the Drs I saw at Mayo, Hopkins & NIH.But for that reason I dont take any medications for the heart failure.as of lately during my last echo I was told that I now also have Afib.

I get home an hour later they call me saying they say a shadow on/around the heart..probably blockage. They immediately phone in Nitrostat, and 25 mg of Metorpolol. This has me on high alert. I went 9 minutes on the stress test with no pain what so ever. I am 40lbs overweight, fairly active, and female, I eat pretty healthy, but my family history has a lot of heart failure. I see the doctor next week. Before I go I am to fitted with a heart monitor halter for 24 hours.

Well yes they explain to me that I do have Heart failure but not active right now it was a couple of weeks ago when I had water on me and he increase my Lasix. I do have the Dypnea everyday and the chest pain which I'm on imdur and Nitrostat. Well I'm going to get the hang of it one day @ a time.

My question is, recently I have been getting angina below my left rib cage & pretty severe dizzy spells that stop my train of thought(nothing else has changed except I have been getting pain behind my left shoulder.

I'm going to get the gerber bottles from walmart. My sister has them & they work fine so i thought I'd try them, but if I'm pumping what bottles would I store the milk in? Or should I just get storage bags?? & if i get storage bags do i just pour the milk in the bottle when im ready to feed? Ugh. So confused lol help!

Where did you put all your babies stuff? Like diapers and wipes and (if you're having a girl) bows and just everything I guess lol. I have 2 dressers, the top if my closet and my window sill is larger that normal window sills so its kinda like a shelf. I don't know where all baby's stuff is gonna go so I need ideas. Did you put shelves in or buy something you're using for storage? I need ideas please.

There was some previous discussion regarding proper storage of hepatopro, but I can't remember the details. I think that the recommendation was to freeze it and store some in the fridge. The bottle from LEF states to "store tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Protect from heat and light." I called up LEF and the phone rep told me that it's OK to store at room temp. How are others who are using hepatopro or another form of PPC storing their suppply?

Hi all I have just started using Insulin and chose the Pen for its ease of use and of storage. My understanding is that I should store my extra pens in the fridge but the one I'm using is fine at room temperature. Fortunately the ambient temps where I live just don't get too hot or too cold. However, I am traveling this month to Costa Rica where it will be much warmer. The insert says to store it below 80 degrees.

I have hashimoto's disease and was actually just tested for 2 types of adult onset glycogen storage diseases....they both came back negative so I do not have it but the symptoms that I have (despite 2 years of normalized thyroid values) sound a lot like metabolic muscle disease. My legs get weak and painful within minutes of standing or walking....

I posted this in the Breastfeeding community as well, but I figured I'd post her as well, since this community tends to get more visitors. I pump twice a day at work, and usually get around 14-15 oz out of those two sessions, so I bring 2 8 oz storage bottles with me and that's always been enough. But my breasts are apparently on overdrive today, and I just got 14 oz (!!) out of just the first session.

t want to use a whole storage bottle for 1 1/2 oz every time I pump, that could get pretty expensive buying enough for a new one every time...I'm still not giving Aubryana a bottle yet, she sleeps good at night and DH is just now starting back with work, and going to be out another 30 days again soon for surgery. I'd just rather not try to introduce a bottle at all if I can help it, but not for a while still if I do, she just turned five weeks yesterday.

Deep freezer in storage bags up to a year. Fridge freezer in storage bags 6months fridge up too 5 days in a cooler with ice packs 24 hours room temp. Less then 3 hours.

Can you use different brands for breast feeding accessories for example if you have a medela pump can you use regular bottles and milk storage bags? or does everything have to be medela? thanks in advance foe your responses!
