nitrostat

5520965 tn?1506009040 Hi there, Non-urgent question - sent to my cardiologist but he's out of town for a few days. I'm on Isosorbide mononitrate ( generic Imdur ) 30mg once a day, and I have an active scrip for Nitrostat as well, to treat my angina. If ever needed, can a Nitrostat SL be taken when I'm already on Isosorbide Mononitrate without harmful effect?
1500525 tn?1458529998 I was dx w/CHF in 2014. I've had 3 heart attacks & my ef was about 15 about 6 months ago. I don't take any cardiac med w/the exception nitrostat when needed bcuz I also have ALS. The 2 illnesses r completely unrelated according to the Drs I saw at Mayo, Hopkins & NIH.But for that reason I dont take any medications for the heart failure.as of lately during my last echo I was told that I now also have Afib.
645390 tn?1338555377 Do you think that maybe she misunderstood you? I'm on Copaxone and it cost about the same price. My copay is $15.00/month, my insurance covers the rest. I would call your insurance company and ask them how much it will be. If your insurance doesn't deal with shared solutions try calling Pression RX.
Avatar n tn I get home an hour later they call me saying they say a shadow on/around the heart..probably blockage. They immediately phone in Nitrostat, and 25 mg of Metorpolol. This has me on high alert. I went 9 minutes on the stress test with no pain what so ever. I am 40lbs overweight, fairly active, and female, I eat pretty healthy, but my family history has a lot of heart failure. I see the doctor next week. Before I go I am to fitted with a heart monitor halter for 24 hours.
232967 tn?1257740086 Well yes they explain to me that I do have Heart failure but not active right now it was a couple of weeks ago when I had water on me and he increase my Lasix. I do have the Dypnea everyday and the chest pain which I'm on imdur and Nitrostat. Well I'm going to get the hang of it one day @ a time.
1500525 tn?1458529998 t take any cardiac med w/the exception of isosorbide and nitrostat when needed bcuz of a separate unrelated illness but as of lately the isosorbide isn't working well. My question is, recently I have been getting angina below my left rib cage & pretty severe dizzy spells that stop my train of thought(nothing else has changed except I have been getting pain behind my left shoulder.
888550 tn?1241030258 I just seen my Cardilogists today and he up my Lasix to 40 mg a day He keep my Coreg 12.5mg for now and My Imdur is the same and I also use Nitrostat when needed which is every other day sometimes. I aslo have Diabetic Mircovascular Heart Disease. Well in three months he is going to recheck my pressure to see where we are @ right now . It was so hard to hear him say Congestive Heart Failure and i think he didn't want to say it either I don't know why it was hard for him to say it.
Avatar m tn Please, anyone could give a hint how to get ENTACAVIR at a good price? This medicine has been very effective to me and I'll have to take it "ad aeternum", BUT it is very expensive. Is there any program or any cooperative group buyer to reach and get some discount? I appreciate any info whoch could help me. Thanks a lot.
Avatar m tn Really a good news. I will like to know the possible price for the drugs and which company are going to be given authorize to deliver the drugs.

649848 tn?1534633700 Just thought I'd let everyone know -- I picked up my refill for Tirosint this morning and the price has doubled, from what I've been paying. I've been paying $85.44 for 3 months; that jumped to $170.88 for 3 months. My insurance doesn't cover it, though it does save me a few bucks ($55 on this refill). I've contacted Akrimax, but don't know if they will respond or not.
Avatar m tn No, I'm not blame them for everything. But some of them could charge a price less abusive, after all are the same corporations that are profiting here in my country charging the amount I told you ($33). Why do you have to pay 5 times more?
Avatar f tn hi..please can anybody tell me how much is the price of baraclude 500 mcg in india?and also tenofovir..thank you very much for your help..
620048 tn?1358018235 Last time I ordered my three month supply the base price went up about $800. My co-pay stayed the same at $150 for the 90 day supply. I've been interested to see what insurance is charged when I refill again the first week of September.
796506 tn?1370188305 Well I called tricare and the reason that I had to pay full price is because the doc didn't call the right number for pre authorization. I called my doc and they are going to fix all of it for me so I should be receiving a refund. Thank you so much for the fill in.
Avatar m tn I received my new script today and noticed the price listed this month was $33,600 In past scripts it showed $28,000 I was under the impression that there was pressure to lower the cost. Thank god for the help of the foundation.
649848 tn?1534633700 m just wondering if everyone else is experiencing continuous price increases, as I am or if my pharmacy is taking me for a ride. I'd been paying $85 and change (all out of pocket) for my 3 month supply (actually 84 gelcaps) for quite a while (3-4 yrs, at least), but back in the fall, the price doubled, as I think most thyroid meds did, or at least they jumped up. I'd thought $85 was "enough", but wasn't horrible, so I didn't complain.
Avatar f tn 5 mg Norvasc daily and 50mg metoprolol twice a day. (and 0.4 mg nitrostat as needed) But they have had no impact at all on the frequency of chest pains or exercise intolerance. I am not Diabetic... my Gastroparesis is believed to be from either Autonomic Neuropathy or Mitochondrial Disease. I have been tested in the past many times for adrenal issues (including pheochromocytoma) as well as cushings, carciniods, zollinger ellison....
Avatar n tn I was diagnosed with MVP about 30 years ago. I have angina from time to time, usually when I'm at rest and I carry nitrostat with me in case the angina becomes unbearable. - MVP is very common and I only had a bad episode once when I thought a heart attack was imminent. Turned out to be an anxiety attack. However, people who have anxiety attacks frequently should be monitored by a cardiologist. At present, I see my cardiologist once a year for a check up or nuclear test.
Avatar f tn Mostly when I lay down at night or do anything (walking, stairs, etc) right after a meal. Some shortness of breath also. I have started using the Nitrostat again but I am really depressed to think that the old symptoms can come again with all the work I've done to keep them away. I will use the NG until I get up to the "3 limit" before going back to Dr. I had 2 surgeries in 07 and that only makes this more depressing.
Avatar m tn The cardio had also given me an rx for 25 mg metroprolol 2x daily and nitrostat. (this on top of my 30mg benazepril). But my resting pulse rate is typically 47-55, so how low would the metro send it? The cardio said try it as an "experiment." He seems to be continuing to interpret my throat tightening as angina. The throat tightening is a sensation of not being able to physically get enough air across my throat.
