thanks so much for your comment. have you tried any type of natural herb? my brother-in-law has cancer of the esophagus and his doctor said it could have been from the drug that he was taking and the drug was nexium. have you heard about this link of anti-acid medication to cancer?

I just read on another site that being on Nexium can cause biliary dyskinesia. Can anyone relate to this? Has anyone stopped the Nexium and had the biliary dyskinesia go away and gallbladder return to a normal ejection fraction? I have been on Nexium for the last year. I was on it once previous to this go-around and had stopped taking it for a few months. Then a horrible acid reflux hit. I was on Lorazepam, at the time, too, when the acid reflux hit.

If u take this med and try diet changes it is possible to stop the meds for months or yrs at a time....they r not a life sentance.Most meds have side effects listed, but not all the side effects occur to the person using them. Let ur dr know ur concerns and I am sure he /she will keep a close eye on ur levels of iron ect.

Even if you do not find this listed as a recognized Nexium side effect I do know from experience that proton pump inhibitors can have very bizarre effects. I hope things start to improve for him very soon.

If you google Celexa side effects, what you're experiencing seems to be an expected side effect. Did all this start after you began taking Celexa?

She is quite nervous about the side effects. We dont really know what to expect as I have heard different things from different doctors and nurses. Hi, I'm living with GERD for more than 6 years. I've done Endoscopy but no serious problem found on my stomach. My Doctor prescribed me Nexium 40mg a day for 2 months. I felt happy because the GERD is gone even the Acids, I didn't feel at all. After few weeks after stopping taking Nexium, the GERD started again and sometimes, heartburn and acids are attacking me again. Now, my question is, Is it ok to become dependent on Nexium? Like everyday, I must take 1 capsule?
