Common Questions and Answers about Nexium rash

nexium

Avatar m tn t seem to be addicting at all. I am sorry about the rash and blisters from the nexium and let me be the first to congratulate you on dropping your sugar so much with out the help of medicine. from what i was told 120 is actually a good spot for your sugar to be at. I was told I should keep it anywhere from 70-130. Do you have a kit to test at home? If so, then you might want to do that until after christmas. I would just do what the doc says and go from there... hope i helped.
Avatar f tn s leaking/dripping and gushing urine. He was taking a medicine for two weeks previously for gerd called esomeprezole (nexium) which was causing him to be incredibly thirsty drinking huge amounts. We stopped themedicine and the thirst is better but incontinence remains. We've had multiple tests, urine, blood, diabetes, MRI, ultrasound all normal. The drs are baffled! I'm at this moment in hospital awaiting a urilogy Dr on monday .
Avatar f tn I have noticed that I have oily stools. When I take Nexium 40mg per day it relieves the pain from excess acid. I have struggled since Oct with extreme pains under my right breast -onto the actual ribs etc and was diagnosed with Costo ?? Nothing helped ! Nexium took 95% of symptoms away though - coincidence you think?
Avatar f tn Had been on Augmentin for a sinus infection, just finishing up the script, and take Crestor, Nexium, and Zyrtec on a regular basis. Symptoms started a few days after starting generic Zyrtec, which also caused unbelievable dryness that felt like I was dehydrated (no vomiting, though). A day after the chills, I noticed my urine was dark and my stools were very light, almost gray, and I started getting very itchy but no rash.
Avatar f tn He followed up with his doctor on this and I do not think they did the right thing by giving him Nexium. Since he has been on the nexium he has gained 20-30lbs and is now feeling bloated and worse than before. I just do not know what to do about this anymore. I do not know what it could be caused from. If maybe I could get a diet for this type of thing so i knew what kinds of foods that would be best for his stomach and or a better diagnosis. Could this be IBS? We will be following up with a G.

Avatar f tn Hello, I am 16 turning 17 in May. I started taking Nexium in 2013 in August. I have a severe case of Acid Reflux. My esophagus is mildly burned. I have no ulcers. Ever since I was 5 I had acid reflux disease for years we couldn't figure it out neither could my mom she just thought I had bad morning stomach aches until she became an EMT paramedic in 2010, ever since she figured it out we've been looking for medicine to help.
1927233 tn?1326670387 Could the sudden increase be related to whatever mysterious digestive issues I have, or possibly a side effect of nexium? I tried stopping the nexium for a few days and re-tested my blood pressure at the pharmacy, still 115/82, maybe it takes longer for nexium wear off, or maybe its not the cause. How concerning is this??? I realise 115/82 is still "normal", but considering my whole life my normal blood pressure has been very low, I think the sudden change might be serious.
Avatar f tn On my 2nd scan I had a delayed reaction of itching, redness on the skin of my eyebrows and nose plus a red goosebump type rash below my breastbone. I took benadryl and the redness cleared up within a day and the rash is almost gone. On July 14th I started to feel like there was a lump in my throat and took more benadryl which helped but made my throat really dry. On the 17th I felt it worse so I went to my Primary Dr.
Avatar m tn i saw this guy floydd wright on youtube who says do not take nexium if you have hep c . has anyone heard of nexium being dangerous to induce hep c ?
Avatar f tn I doubt that "NEXIUM" has anything to do with your sisters knee pain. You can refer to the package insert if you look up the medication..
Avatar m tn I take 40mg daily of nexium daily. I was having acid attacks even with the Nexium, alway at night when sleeping. I have the wedge, extra pillows etc. Garvistan, Tums next to my bed. I once asked Dr. when could I stop Nexium he said I would need to lose weight. I have low iron, low B levels. Thinning hair etc. I already have spinal stenosis. I have been on Nexium for at least 10 years. Anyone out there who's been able to quit Nexium, let me know how and how long it took.
Avatar n tn There is nothing in the manufacturer's literature regarding bone loss with Nexium. If the Nexium is diminishing your calcium supply then you may need to increase your calcium intake. First, I would suggest a bone density scan to make sure if your calcium levels are low or not and to measure the strength of your bones. Please discuss this issue further with your primary doctor.
Avatar f tn He said if it improves even more he will say the nexium caused it. Because my tongue got this way just 4 to six months after taking nexium. Now does anyone have the answers I'm looking for did nexium do this to me?
Avatar n tn I have pain belowmy rib cage that my DR has me taking Nexium for. I have been taking it for a couple of years now. My company is changing insurance and the nexium is going to rise considerably in cost when we swich to cigna. I need a cost effective alternative to discuss with my doctor. The Nexium has been very effective for me. I wish I didn't have to change.
Avatar m tn Been taking Zantac effervescent regularly and have tried every other drug known to man but the doctor suggested we try 20mg Nexium a day to see if that helps. It has, but after 10 days now I seem to be getting worse again. Also started taking Gaviscon (again) before meals. The question is how long do we take the Nexium? permenently, or stop when I feel better? the doctor was vague abd said the usual; come back in 2 weeks and let me know how you are. Anybody have any side affects?
Avatar n tn I ran out of Nexium and am trying to get by with Prilosec until I see my gastro doc. It's not working very well. Anyone got any tips? I'm taking lots of Tums, but still burning like crazy. I've been on the Nexium for years and would love to get off of it if there is something less physically addictive.
