And I just started doing reserch on the Nexium because of medical issues I have came down with since I been on Nexium. I have eye problems with very blurred vision. Bone and joint pain, had MRI And It showed buldging disk in my neck a bad disk in my upper back,And my spine is full of bone spurs. I came down with all of this just since I been on the Nexium .
Oh! and speaking of diarrhea I have many attacks where it last for days.

Affective Disorders (emotional/personality effects): irritability, anxiety, lack of motivation, temper, loss of interest, sleep disturbance.

He said that Nexium started working very quickly and that it helped with the problems that NASID caused.
NASIDS can cause bleeding, pits or holes in the stomach with long term use, and that the Nexium reduces acid and heals the pits or holes in the stomach lining.
He also said that eating food before taking the NASID helped with long term problems. Tylenol just never did it for me, and I just the NASID instead.

Hi I am currently 21 years old and have been experiencing eye floaters for about 4 months now. My vision is 20/20 and I have gone to the ophthalmologist/optometrist 5 times now and everytime they say that there is nothing wrong with my eye and that floaters are common. They performed the tests of checking my eye pressure and then proceeded to dialate my eyes and check with a scope and light.
He has had very bad stomach problems since we met 2 years ago and now is just getting worse. He has been having problems such as: Massive amounts of heartburn, bad indigestion, throwing up at times ( no blood ) and also always has gas 90 percent of the day. He followed up with his doctor on this and I do not think they did the right thing by giving him Nexium. Since he has been on the nexium he has gained 20-30lbs and is now feeling bloated and worse than before.

Every morning, within 1 1/2 of waking, I have to 'vomit' which amounts to the usual heaving, nothing coming up except phlegm and saliva, eyes watering, etc. After this episode, my sinuses are more clear and everything's ok--my GP only treats with sinus meds or nexium...any ideas? This is debilitating.
Had been on Augmentin for a sinus infection, just finishing up the script, and take Crestor, Nexium, and Zyrtec on a regular basis. Symptoms started a few days after starting generic Zyrtec, which also caused unbelievable dryness that felt like I was dehydrated (no vomiting, though). A day after the chills, I noticed my urine was dark and my stools were very light, almost gray, and I started getting very itchy but no rash.
ve been to an eye doctor who said everything looked normal, I have 20/20 vision and no floaters or visual snow and he thought it was probably a reaction to all the medications I was on, or migraines (which I've never had before), but should only last a few days. Well after a few days of it not going away I had a brain MRI, which all came out normal and my neurologist said to see a neuro-opthalmologist because migraines shouldn't last this long?
She was on acid blockers for 25 years (tagament for 20 years, nexium for 5 years and also took gaviscon for 10 years). I took my mother off nexium and gaviscon cold turkey and started digestive enzyme supplements and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements in their place. She never got worse only better. She no longer suffers GERD, LPR and is 95% improved with gastritis. If you don't want to go cold turkey you could try taking digestive enzyme supplements and wean off nexium more slowly.
Mental stress and physical exertion can cause angina (chest pain) due to the heart not receiving enough blood/oxygen. Your doctor should have given you a free sample of a nitrate. If there is immediate relief from the discomfort, it could indicate occluded vessels. A nitrate pill diltates coronary vessels. An EKG is not very reliable for ischemia dx. A stress test is a better test for possible occlusions.

This sounds to me like a depersonalization disorder this is a disorder in which a sufferer is affected by persistent feelings of depersonalization or derealization.. The most common causes of the disorder are severe stress, depression and panic, marijuana and hallucinogen ingestion.
Blood tests will tell you if the drug is causing problems and supplements can be added if in the very rare case that Nexium is depleting vitamin B12, etc.
I think you should end the guessing game and have an Endoscopy procedure. The Preparation insn't much fun, but the doctor will see and qualify what is seen, it's the gold standard test to determine your condition.

Hi selmaS, I first started out with aciphex and then the doctor prescribed nexium. The nexium didnt work so I went back to the aciphex. I use to drink beer a lot and I started drinking a wine coolers and stopped eating certain foods. I did have my thyroid checked a few years ago but i think I need to again since mostly everyone in my family has it. I have to see the ENT in the morning and have a procedure done and I'll ask about that. What do you do for the nodules on ur thyroid?
In short, I was referred to an eye specialist because I was having horrible eye pain/pressure, double vision, and bright flashes of lights that looked like tiny flies were all over my vision. The 1st eye doc said there were no problems with my eyes and eluded that I was making the symptoms up! A year later another eye doc diagnosed strabismus. Obviously, I was pretty happy that at least one of my symptoms could be observed!
I've been suffering with LPR for a year and a half and I'm TIRED of it. I NEED my voice back so I can sing again. I have stress and anxiety problems and I feel like it's not just something that makes LPR get worse but perhaps it is the culprit! Do all of you LPR sufferers have stress/anxiety problems? I think it has something to do with the short breaths making the diaphragm tense plus all of the other tension and also indigestion all combined from stress/anxiety.
I have serious vision issues, pain, fatigue and lately cement legs that I am not sure what the heck is going on. Complicated migraines or migraines in general can and do cause certain vision problems. I am not a doctor but I know today my vision is more then migraines.
We won't even get into my cognitive issues with brain fog! ;-)

I found out that I have GERDs and IBS and started Nexium and a high fiber diet. Problem is thats not working. I am always tired and having problems with digestion. Saturday I got so nauseous that I couldn't eat anything and the smell of certain things made the nausea worse. I was in so much pain from my head to my stomach and could barely stay awake. For about a month now I have noticed blood in my stool and when I wipe. I dont know if I should worry but things have to get better.
