I just know that my OB/GYN said that had my husband had a low sperm count then there were things that they could have tried like concentrating it and washing it, etc... We never got that far....

Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that many things can affect the sperm count. Sperm take approximately 3 months to manufacture. You may have had an illness three months ago that affected you, or spent some time in a hot tub. Another possibility is that there could have been lab error. I would recommend repeating the level--in at least 3 days. We never make a diagnosis based upon one sperm count because they tend to fluctuate so much.

How can I improve my husbands sperm count. He has his analysis done and it was not good. It was 11.4 but he didn't wait his 2 days like he was suppose to. As far as I know, it will only affect your sperm count temporarily. If you and your wife decide to try for a baby at some point, it might be a good idea to let the sperm count replenish by not having intercourse or ejaculate every day.

Does anyone know if the amount of sperm a man produces has anything to do with sperm count? My DH seems to have a small amount (approx tsp amount). It seems smaller than my first husband. well, i would say it can reduce the counts if u do daily. so just dont do that often. you can wait for 2 days then have intercouse. we are also ttc im thinking to chek my hubby's count also. we skip a day. that way we get good sperms(i blive). n' also you can use briefs insted of tight underwear. it would be better if u take men's multi vitamins. or ask abt this to ur dr. you can also eat banana n' almond n' nuts.. some people say to avoid bitter, spicy n' acidic foods.

I have not been with anyone other than my boyfriend since my last menstrual period (which was on 3/9/14). Hi All, My partner is currently on TRT, and we are looking at wanting another child, which we will have to use a fertility clinic as our previous children were conceived through IUI with FSH and trigger shot, my question is that we are worried his sperm count will be low.
