No hpylori, no ulcers, no colitis and etc . I am taking dexilant 60mg for 2months now. It help much to soothe and control the acid but still the pain in my ribs and upper GI are still burning, chest pain or heartburn still didn't go away yet. How long to be safe taking the dexilant? And how long to cure the acid reflux and gastritis? I am strictly on diet now, no more spicy, no pasta that I love most, no citrus and soft drinks, I don't drink coffee and alcohol.

Hello, I am taking a very low dose of nefazodone because I'm prone to having serious side effects from most meds, especially anti-depressants. When I increased to 75 mg and then 100 mg, I started to have horrible acid reflux. I'm currently taking Dexilant in combination with Carafate and, as needed Zantac, to try to control the reflux. I'm still experiencing serious discomfort until several hours after taking nefazodone.

Hello, everyone; I have been on Dexilant for nearly two months due to severe GERD. So far, this medicine has worked wonders and the only side effect I've noticed is a minor metallic taste in my mouth, which is so minor (compared to the side effects of other drugs) that it's barely anything. I have noticed, however, in the last 6 months, I've developed some symptoms that make me think my magnesium might be low (a side effect of prolonged PPI meds).
