Neupogen patient assistance program

Common Questions and Answers about Neupogen patient assistance program

neupogen

Avatar f tn It can be substantially more if drugs like Procrit and/or Neupogen are required to maintain red and white cell counts; about 25-30% of patients require some form of rescue drug like that. Good luck with your appointment; do you know what genotype you have yet? This will help determine the efficacy and duration of treatment. Have you had a biopsy yet, or do you know if one is required?
Avatar m tn Oooh, this is interesting, Susie; I wonder if something has changed recently. I know some patient assistance programs in the past have stated they’ll deny assistance to insured, but on appeal they often will. Traditionally, both Roche and Schering Plough have provided assistance to uninsured as well as underinsured.
Avatar m tn Here are some patient assistance numbers from the mfgrs. I haven't used these in a while, so if one of them doesn't work for you let me know and I'll straighten it out: Pegassist (Roche Pegasys system): 1-866-422-2377 Commitment to Care (Schering- Plough PEG-Intron system): 1-800-521-7157 Amgen Pharmaceuticals (Neupogen) 1-888-762-6436 http://www.needymeds.org/drug_list.taf?
1658980 tn?1330711550 My doctor feels that although my ANC went from 670 to 840 between Monday and Friday, that we need to be prepared for Neupogen in the event that it drops again. The insurance company has denied coverage for this because HCV treatment is not on their inclusion list for medical conditions approved for neupogen usage. WTF? I know that a lot of members have had issues with their insurance companies but was wondering if anyone ran across this situation and if so, how they dealt with it.
1622229 tn?1299050798 http://www.bms.com/products/Pages/programs.aspx It took about a week and they have approved me to receive the medication and are shipping it to my home. If anyone is suffering financial hardship and needs medication, I encourage you to fill out the application and get it into them. Good luck and God bless.
Avatar f tn This is my understanding of the patient assistance programs for Incivek. The list price, which no patient will have to end up paying, is $49,200 for 12 weeks. HOWEVER, the patient assistance programs, are more than generous. Typical Co-pay for the three prescriptions that will be needed will be between $50 and $250 each.
Avatar m tn really no complaints, other than the Part D coverage gap. Here is a webpage for patient assistance programs, if the need ever arises; I use these every year when I hit the Part D wall :o). This site isn’t Hep C specific; it covers patient assistance for over 4500 different drugs: http://www.needymeds.
333672 tn?1273792789 Apparently, Acorda has both a co-pay assistance program and a patient assistance program for the uninsured and underinsured. There are some details at http://brassandivory.blogspot.com/2010/02/annual-price-for-ampyra-set-at-12850.html with more info in the comments. And yes, the base price for a 30-day supply is $1,056. The way the co-pay program works is that if your co-pay is more than $40, Acorda will pay the difference so the patient's max out-of-pocket is $40.
Avatar m tn If in need, call the Schering-Plough Patient Assistance Program at 1-800-521-7157 and/or the Roche Patient Assistance Program at 1-877-757-6243. November 10, 2008 http://www.hepatitis-central.com/mt/archives/2008/11/choosing_and_af.
Avatar m tn could anyone give me ideas as to where or who i would contact to get some patient assistance for acute hep c treatment? I am not working, cannot wait on s.s. disability. I try to do some construction work when available, but it is really rough.
Avatar m tn Pegassist (Roche Pegasys system): 1-877-734-2797 (if he's on Pegasys) Commitment to Care (Schering- Plough PEG-Intron system): 1-800-521-7157 (if he's on Pegintron) GOOD LUCK!
Avatar f tn Without the patient assistance program I probably wouldn't be SVR - when my insurance refused to let me extend, they coudln't have made it easier and didn't even make me feel bad about needing them to help.
