My mother currently taking nebivolol 5mg in morning and amlodipine/perindopril 5/8mg in evening for hypertension. Her blood pressure has recently been improved and taking both pills cause low blood pressure, she is also suffering from cough as a side effect from perindopril. I am considering to shift her to nebivolol only but 5 mg once a day is not controlling the blood pressure well. My question is can nebivolol be taken twice a day in 2.
I try being on a diet but know i am taking Crestor 20mg for triglicerides, and nebivolol 5mg for my bp. I have had some cases of high heart beat and doctors said its nothing to worry about. I had onew 12 years ago, 1one 8 years ago and one 2 yeears ago.They come and go within 10 minutes.Its something with my electrical paths of my heart but doctors said there is no need to worry for now.My docotr said that high bp is due to my sensitive character, and tryglicerides is gentics.
Has anyone had this latest beta blocker prescribed for them or family members? If so, what comments can you make concerning its effectiveness with heart rhythm problems?
After my second ever episode of fast atrial fibrillation, resolved through electric shock, my cardiologist prescribed 100mg flecaine and 2.5mg nebivolol to be taken every day. This as a preventive measure.
I have read on the medicine info notice that these two medicines should not be taken together. My cardiologist states that they are routinely prescribed together by cardiologists these days.
I have never taken any heart drug, and feel a bit concerned. Can anyone shed some light on this?
My cardiologist subbed 5 mg Nebivolol for the Amlodipine due to what he described as exercise-related hypertension. I took this medication for a week and experienced a range of unpleasant side effects, including exhaustion, significant depression and reduced heart rate (mid-60s, compared with my normal mid-80s).
I've been off the Nebivolol for five days, but I'm still experiencing these side effects. My heart rate has only come back to about 67-68.
Palpitations, it is my understanding, are pretty normal for everyone and happen often due to anxiety. You are being treated for anxiety. So, it could be because of the anxiety and not the buspar. How ARE your anxiety symptoms, by the way. We aren't seeing a huge impact for my son.

First i do not have Anxious thoughts or anything. Since all the meds the neurologyst gave me (phenibut,adaptol) were usually used for anxiety i thought i would try paroxetine. I used some years ago for my PE thats why i choose it. I usually don't have problems with quitting things.I quit smoking cold turkey but i also know SSRI and benzos are different. But as you know i have not been on them for too long.
About headaches.
i took it for about 14 mths for svt ,and i found it to be ok ,there are better ones for svt ,like neiblet{nebivolol} which is a more selective for the heart ,but inderal is known to be good for migraine as well...for the first few weeks just watch standing up quick and things like that ,it is better started on a low dose and moved up as needed,,but apart from that it seems to be well tolerated by most.

All beta blockers are known to result in some degree of erectile dysfunction in males & decreased libido in females. However, nebivolol is one beta blocker which has got vasodilatory properties & hence can be one of the alternatives of carvedilol. However, you can continue taking lisinopril. can any one please help me im 29y old and have for the past 6 months have been suffering from worrying vison disturbances. i have no head aches. it seems worse on a morning but happens all day. anything i look at leaves and image after i look away when i close my eyes it gets worse with lights moving in my eyes even though they are closed i have seen my doctor who seems unconcerned. this might be because i have another problem which he deems worse.
I wore a monitor that caught a daytime runaway of 200 beats that lasted about 3 minutes. I have had that kind once a year or so for 30 years. I am very active and teach children.
After the 200 episode I was given150mg 2xd propafenone which seemed to bring on the worst feeling I had ever had heartwise. I also had a mild chest ache and a feeling of a pill stuck in my throat down to my stomach and back up.
