the products i used are savlon antiseptic cream, savlon healing gel and aloe vera gel, could you tell me if any of these products work. I used the healing gel overnight and the area on my nose is small than it was before and its been about 2 months now to show some progress, but i am still afraid when it does heal my nose won't be the same again. if you would like to see a photo, i will be uploading one very soon.
No test have been done, saw family physician, she only suggested a dandruff shampoo. I have been using T- Gel and Demerex.

anyways, as the title suggests, it DOES NOT go away! ive been using this overnight pimple gel from eskinol with vit. C for it to disappear, but it doesnt seem to do anything but give me stings. i REALLY need help! graduation's fast approaching and i dont want this bump to be attending my grad after party.pls. HELP! Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.

Apply warm compresses on the lumps and keep the area clean. Topical antiseptic treatment and topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment is very useful.If still the lumps persist then specific treatment like antibiotics,vit A supplements,corticosteroid injections,isotretinoin,antiandrogens and sometimes excision and drainage ,laser therapy and radiotherapy are found useful.I feel that you should consult a dermatologist and discuss these options with him.
Suddenly as it started to fade away another one or two broke out below it along the cheek bone line. I apply an antibiotic gel on it twice a day after cleaning my face but it still seems to be spreading. At night I feel a tingly sensation there and am afraid it will continue to spread. What can I do?

ve been to the dermatologist about it, and they told me they believed it was a virus. They gave me a certain gel to put on it and said that it would make it go away. I've been trying this for about three or four months now, and they have remained the same, if not worse. What can I do to make it go away? It's very unattractive, and people are starting to notice. Accidentally, I sprayed mupirocin/Dextamethasone 5GM/45ML/0.1%, a compounded nasal preparation, in my eye. I rinsed the eye with water for about one minute. Eye has had 5 retina surgeries, has band kerapothy, and no lens. PCC told me it's ok because the mupirocin is also used for eye preparations. Correct?
It was originally identified as staph and treated with Mupirocin and Clobetasol by my Dr. Unfortunately 2 weeks of use has done nothing. I haven't been able to see her again so I figured I'd post here. I have a feeling this could be fungal, but am not sure. As you can see in the pic, it is a red irritation and slightly raised. It has shown only minor response to both clobetasol and mupirocin. It has never itched.

will this cause worse scarring? I apply ointment onto it daily that contains mupirocin. how long should it take to heal?
ve been to the dermatologist twice and used Locoid Lipocream once a day. Things got a little better but never went away. Then she gave me Mupirocin to use once a day. Same issue - got more manageable, but never went away.
On my own, I've been taking flax oil daily and using pure vitamin E oil on my eyelids and undereye area. Since it was a rollerball application, I also applied it to my lips too. Now the edges of my lips are red and itchy as well.
I was prescribed Mupirocin for a non-healing nasal ulcer. I used it for about 2 days then woke up with a bad headache today from the get go. I've tried everything I can. I have taken Tylenol TWICE, Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen in it, nasal spray, a Breathe Right nasal strip (since I do have severe sinus problems.) NOTHING has worked or given any relief.

I went to get a second opinion from my other dermatologist, he looked at me, said he was 100% sure that what I had were warts, and gave me Condylox Gel 0.5% (originally used for genital warts) but he said it would help. I started putting cream on all the lesions which took me about 45 every time. I went back a week later, with no improvements. Now he wasn't so sure anymore, so he took a biopsy from 4 lesions and sent them in. He gave me Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%.
Back in August I had a lesion in the same spot and tested negative. They gave me a shot and mupirocin to put on sore along with pills to take and it Went away just fine.. this time I did not get a shot but I did get mupirocin and a different set of pills but lesion is still there after almost two weeks.. any way that this is not herpes . At since I tested negative months ago for all std and tested negative again last week.
He gave me a steroid (nebulized) to decrease the internal swelling and I am about to start trying mupirocin (nebulized) for 3 weeks to see if that helps. I do have my doubts if this will work (mupirocin precisely). I have "klebsiella ozaenea" infection and I was under the impression mupirocin is effective on gram positive bacteria and the Ozaenea is a gram negative bacteria. I wanted to ask if any doctors on here can tell me if this is a good try.
Since there is confusion as to what this is, I made a somewhat risky decision and applied Mupirocin ointment USP, 2% to the remaining ulcers on my scrotum that had not yet healed. After an overnight application and two applications today, there is a dramatic difference. The sores have stopped weeping and are almost completely healed.
