Weirdly he's into the classics. Beethoven and Mozart. Things like that. Moonlight sonata gets him real still and he doesn't move. When its over he kicks like crazy till I put it back on. Anything played on a piano or violin seems to sooth him. He also loves when I sing to him. Could be anything.
I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function.
The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
I am sorry to hear about your Dad and I am afriad I dont know much about the MP3 player other than they are good, I am hopingothers here may know but we also have an expert /Doctor forum and the Doctor is very interested I think he may have some input for you, so go back to forums check out alzheimers forum on the right side wher it says epert Forum . Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
Three weeks ago my husband and I made a big move to Thailand. Obviously we brought our girl (Moonlight) with us. When we got here she was fine, just a bit frazzled from such a long journey. She had been behaving normally until about 6 days ago when she began vomiting quite a bit. We waited a few hours to see if it would subside, and it did not, so we decided to take her to the vet.
They have a cople of site that have mp3 files of aa and na speakers and they are pretty good to listen to and it is free to download. If you don't have an mp3 player you can listen off of the computer, but today so many electronic have the mp3 players on them it is a small chance you don't have one.I actually did that I was listening to some files to remember some of my mother language.
Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
But, instead of a regular bassinet i got a rocking moonlight sleeper. You can put it beside your bed and rock it, it has vibrating thing on it and nature sounds and it puts off a soft light with stars and moons.
I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
I know when I went for a checkup once they allowed me to have my MP3 player with me. Had music blasting in my ears as I was worked on. So if the dentist understands your situation I will say he will allow your husband in. Just explain about your anxiety condition. I am sure they get loads of people similar to you in. You won't be the first.
my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd,wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
It seems that every time I stop taking ambien for a few days and I'm feeling side effects. When I wake up my head is killing me, my kidneys are killing me, and I can't stop sudden movement. I have tried to stop several times though my doctors and with therapy but its like nothing works. I try to stick with it but if I have to deal with worst side effects. I can't believe I've been in this mess since '09 and I'm taking too many to even my prescriptions out.
Sometimes, when I read in bed on an evening, I notice a problem when I turn out the light. I go blind for a few minutes in one eye! When I look around the room in the moonlight I have noticed that I can see perfectly well from my left eye, but it takes a good few minutes for my right eye to be able to see in the available light. At any time in the day or night I have noticed on many occasions that I get a blurred feeling in my right eye almost like I have a film over my eye.
