I am not physically restricted - I walk 1 mile or more day and do 10 minutes of other light exercises most days. My BP runs under 120/80 most of the time. I understand carvedilol helps prevent stiffening of the heart muscle and can help restore LV function to some degree. How specially, so it do this? What is the biochemical mechanism?

Plavix has a unique mechanism of action by blocking the amplification of platelet activation by released ADP, and often used with aspirin to prevent the risk of clots for the first year after DES implant. Plavix and aspirin have different mechanism of action to prevent clots. After a year, plavix is usually discontinue as the risk for clots is decreased, and aspirin is continued long term. The risk of a clot is about 3%.
can anyone out there tell me the names of drugs?? or herbs?? to take to get rid of the RLS-- Not only do I suffer from it but my 80 yr old pop does-- He don't take drugs-- he just gets the RLS--- There were some posts a few days ago where people were talking of numerios things to help the RLS-- Also are these drugs or supplements??
t know about the Monavie but what I take and is wonderful is Mirapex. I take it 3 times a day and have no restless legs unless I skip a dose or run out and then the RLS returns. I hope this has helped.

I'm on .25mg of Mirapex for RLS and am gaining weight. Has anyone else experienced this. Any idea as to why. Suggestions? Thanks!
Restless legs are so common with MS I understand some places are even considering listing it as a MS symptom! I need it full time anymore now in my 37th years of MS! It is one of my most obnoxious symptoms, and I have taken requip or the generic, roprinole, for several years. Maybe you could add this too, please. For many years all I could do was rub my thighs--ad nauseum! Thanks for doing a wonderful job!

I have been told that Mirapex works much better than Ropinerol - you may want to talk to your doc about Mirapex as an option - it just went generic.
