Common Questions and Answers about Miralax recall numbers

mirapex

Avatar f tn A lady I have chemo with (also on topo), mixes the Miralax in warm prune juice and says it works great. You can also take stool softeners with the Miralax. Hopefully, the chemo will take care of the tumors on/by your Mom's colon. IF your Mom goes on iron, there is a new pill "HEMAX" (an Rx) that is a combo of Vitamin C, Iron, and stool softener. You need to take iron with Vitamin C for good absorption. Good luck .. don't know anything about Gemzar ..

11079760 tn?1483386130 I know we've addressed this in a recent thread, but I just have to share that I just forgot my house address. I've lived here for almost 10 years, and I suddenly couldn't remember my house numbers. I went back & forth between 2 digits - one is right and one is not. Can this just be because I'm highly distracted with other issues (read: STRESSED) right now? I hate that these things are happening more & more frequently.
179856 tn?1333547362 The contaminated product has the potential to cause serious problems, including dangerous blood clots, Amgen said in a press release announcing the recall. However, Amgen said there had been no complaints that can be directly attributed to the presence of glass. It said certain lots were being voluntarily recalled as a precaution.
Avatar f tn I had the same problem. My doc also prescribed miralax. Im already swamped with other meds, so I decided to go natural to reduce the constipation. Try eating brown (wheat) instead of white and lots of green veggies (greens, spinach). It has done wonders for me.
Avatar f tn My doctor told me to take miralax and to increase my water intake.
Avatar f tn The beginning of my pregnancy my OB said I could take miralax to help with constipation, but now that I am 37w4d is it safe to take? I don't want to take it if it's going to affect baby in any way.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had miralax?
408448 tn?1286883821 I have been having okay results since June with Miralax and Colace. A few weeks ago I began having what looks to be blood in the stool. I told my onc right away. She said do not worry. It is probably from a blood vessel bursting. Well, I tried not to worry, but it did not work! Could the Miralax be the trouble?
Avatar f tn I am 10wks preggo and was wondering if Miralax is safe to take for constipation during pregnancy....I am very constipated and have been drinking Metamucil 2 times a day without any effectiveness....my husband is a pharmacist and says that it is safe because it doesn't enter the bloodstream, but I do not want to take something unless I know that it is safe. I have seen where it is category c. Thanks for your help....
Avatar m tn I was given iron supplements as a baby, grew up and have experienced constipation off and on as long as I can recall. I am 30 years old now, have taken Miralax on a daily basis for over a year (a friend of mine who was a nurse said it was safe as it does not alter your colon, only draws in water), and have no problems defecating.
Avatar n tn As long as you use opiates or synthetic opiates you will fight constipation, plane and simple. Me too. Like Vicki said "Miralax" is what I use. Walmarts got a copy, don't recall the name. You have probably already tried to notice which foods stop you up. If your intestines are alright, then it's a fiber thing. And of course water. I've had part of my gut's removed and fight it every single day.
Avatar n tn I am desperately trying to find someone that has had the ReSTOR multi-focal lens removed! My life since October 13, 2012 has been miserable due to these lens! I found a 2015 FDA recall report on ALCON Laboratories manufacture of the ReSTOR lens with my model number as one of the recalls! They are claiming the recall on ReSTOR IOL multi-focal lens applied to Japan shipment, I do not believe it is only Japan, my model number was on the list!
Avatar f tn he told me that I could use miralax and gatorade and it would be fine..I mean really I got the bathroom anywhere from 2 to 7 times a day, the prep is all I need to push me over the top...so I am hoping that I will be able to tolerate the prep and the colonoscopy will go fine. A couple of other things, I do take things over the counter to attempt to slow down this condition..
Avatar n tn This is on top of a strong oral medication (Amitiza) and magnesium. With Miralax, I get the stuff in the bottle and take 1 1/2 capfuls once a day and as needed.
Avatar m tn As I recall, the solution was also pretty expensive, whereas you can buy a bottle of Miralax and some Crystal light packets for about $10 - $15. The drawback with the Miralax solution is that you have to drink an entire gallon of it (1/2 gallon - 1 - 8 oz glass every 20 minutes, then later, the other 1/2 gallon at the same 20 minute intervals). This, in addition to lots of water or other clear liquids as instructed by your doctor.
Avatar m tn He says I have Hashimotos but he thinks I have had a flare up and am now going into remission. He wants to keep track of my numbers monthly and see what happens. He is a good Dr and I trust him. He seems to have taken all the right tests with no prompting from me. If I go back a few years I did have a high TSH 3 years ago so maybe I go through bouts. Eventually maybe I will have to go on meds. My results Ultrasound normal no nodules or inflamation August TSH 6.05 Range .35-5.
Avatar f tn I don't really know much about Hep C, but I am concerned after receiving the following test results. In March I had protected sex with my partner twice in one night. We kissed, but no oral. I don't recall coming into contact with his blood. I have not had any symptoms, other than my temp is usually 99 degrees for the past four months sometimes but I also have extreme anxiety.

If you have questions, contact your doctor or pharmacy.
Avatar n tn Why was c-phen dm infant drops recalled?
Avatar n tn I take Miralax and have Gastroparesis. I can't have a BM without the Miralax!!!! It has truly been a God sent to me! I have a spastic colon and, well needless to say the Miralax is the best tasting, no side effect product out there!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!! My daughter who is 12 (almost 13) takes it occasionally (only a half cap full) when she's stopped up. I've tried just about every other "helper" out there on the market and Miralax is by far the best!
649848 tn?1534633700 I've just received a notice that Acella is doing a voluntary recall of certain lots of 30 mg, 60 mg and 90 mg NP Thyroid tablets. These lots may contain up to 115% more T3 (Liothyronine) than they're labeled to have. Taking more Liothyronine (T3) than prescribed can result in over medication. If you take any of these dosages, please contact your pharmacy and/or doctor to make sure you don't have tablets from the lots in question.
