MY WEIGHT IS ONLY 35 KG AND I AM HAVING MESALAZINE SINCE 10 YEARS.MY HB LEVEL IS 11. PLZ REPLY TO THE ABOVE QUESTION ABOUT MY HEART.
your dosage was similar to mine - you will be ok, honest. You will feel like the flu has come on, but recognising it is half the battle. Don't let the drug inside you trick you into using it again just to feel better.
Once you are past day three you can say you are off them for good. Don't go back. You can do this.

Are you sure you talked to a doctor? Obviously you have to take an antidepressant every day. There are definitely downsides to taking medication, and if your life isn't so badly disrupted you can't function it's good to look for alternatives, especially therapy. But I'm always amazed at how many people take things without doing any homework first. When a doctor gives you a prescription, there's a dosage. That dosage has been arrived at by trials and experience.
I am told that she cannot take any kind of contraception because of the tablets she is taking. which means we can only use condoms, my problom is what if one snaps what can we do fi she cannot take the pill or the morning after pill, or anything. im calling to people out there who can help us if they know if there is anything else we can use to be safe ..........please help me.

ve only had oral outbreaks so far, i asked the doctor for acyclovir and he gave me a prescription for 800mg tablets and to take them 2x daily for a total dose of 1600mg everyday as supressive therapy. i'm concerned this is too high a dose? i thought it should be 400mg and take 2x daily for a total dose of 800mg? it was an ER doctor that gave it to me because i don't have health insurance and went to the county hospital.
I am new to this forman , I start treatment in Jan. the Dr told me my dosage is pegasys 180 micrograms once week and ribapack 400-400 2 ties a day. Does this sound like what most of you all are taking. He told me it will be 24 weeks of treatment. do any of you all feel well enough to work while you take these meds? Do you drive ? When i stopped i got my periods on the same day i stopped.I thought i was getting into hyper because of high dosage and so didnt take the tablets for 5 days until my periods stopped.From the next day on wards i started the tablets again but had dizziness in the mornings when i wen to gym around 6 am. after having the tablets only i used to go to the gym.So i came back from the gym unable to exercise for one week.The next week i had severe lightheadedness.
I have been suffering from chronic ulcerative colitis (UC) over the last twenty years. I’m in control of it and lead almost a normal life. I’m currently on 3 grams of Rafassal (Mesalazine) and 200 mg of Imuran (Azathioprine).
My last colonoscopy revealed multiple areas suspicious of low grade dysplasia (LGD) in sigmoid colon and recotoanal junction. There is also doubt they might be high grade dysplasia (HGD).
My doctor advised that these LGDs be removed.

A month ago I had my annual blood test and my TSH was 6.49 and I was told to increase my dosage to 125 mcg. I have had a very unusual amount of stress in the past 6 months and am having to commute 2 hours each way to work which I think has not helped at all. After two weeks on the higher dosage I couldn't function properly, 3 days of fogginess and then a very funny spell where I felt very drunk and light headed.
hi all been on 50 mg sertraline tablets for 3 weeks now for anxiety. they dont seem to be doing anything to me except side effects 1st week was worst my anxiety was worse had panic attacks, constant tiredness jittery sweating calmed down bit now i just have constantly shaky hands all time no matter what i do,
doctor said thats just me im not sure what he means.
anyone else get this?
also i dont want him to up my dose as the side effects but not noticing any change does it take longer?
