MY WEIGHT IS ONLY 35 KG AND I AM HAVING MESALAZINE SINCE 10 YEARS.MY HB LEVEL IS 11. PLZ REPLY TO THE ABOVE QUESTION ABOUT MY HEART.

I HAVE HAD ELECTRO AMD ECHOCARDIOGRAMS AND THEY BOTH WERE NORMAL. I GET VERY SCARED WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I GET PALPITATIONS. I AM THE KIND OF PERSON WHO PAYS A LOT OF ATTENTION TOWARDS THESE THINGS.IS THIS CONDITION DANGEROUS????
I have been suffering from chronic ulcerative colitis (UC) over the last twenty years. I’m in control of it and lead almost a normal life. I’m currently on 3 grams of Rafassal (Mesalazine) and 200 mg of Imuran (Azathioprine).
My last colonoscopy revealed multiple areas suspicious of low grade dysplasia (LGD) in sigmoid colon and recotoanal junction. There is also doubt they might be high grade dysplasia (HGD).
My doctor advised that these LGDs be removed.
1 - You think what my STD doctor told me is reasonable?
2 - Would you suggest any HIV testing to me? I think I am ready to move on if you will not tell me that tested is warranted to me.
3 - You think GE was professional by giving me mesalazine after sigmoidoscopy (when I have been told proctitis I knew nothing about causes)? You think proctitis cannot be related to HIV?
4 - Nodes - Can 2 nodes be related to autoimmune proctitis? Should I get further in analysing my nodes?
One of the vets mentions skin grafts and physical therapy, which would be great but very expensive. Are there any other options out there?
It is rather general question. I was taking mesalazine , it is an anti-inflammatory drug but has also some immunosuppressive functions. I stopped it 4 months before testing.

It is not considered a narcotic but some people can become addicted to it but I think that is just a physical addiction and the doc can get you off by gradually lowering the dosage. I took it for years and really liked it because it was not a narcotic but it can effect your liver and that is what happened to me, so I had to go off of it. Going off was no problem especially since they replaced it with a different pain med.
I was on lexapro but started sweating and got heart palpitations once I increased the dose from 5 to 7.5. Pharmacist said I need a antidepressant with sedative properties to help with my insomnia, which is made worse with having to go back on thyroid medication. If anyone has any suggestions I appreciate it, thank you.
I've been taking pain pills narcotics for months now. I've tried to taper down ,but being an addict, I can't. I need to ask the dr. for a medicine that will get me through the physical withdrawals that I know i will go through. What medicine works the best?
Normally methocarbamol (Robaxin) are indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of methocarbamol has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Methocarbamol does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles.
I have used it is the past as a muscle relaxant and found it fairly effect.
Mesalazine may also cause some stomach upset (read for side effects on the label).
t seem to help with the underlying problems. The doctor then prescribed Canasa (mesalazine) suppositories for 10 days, which seemed to help while I was using them (though they didn't entirely clear up the problems and also caused me to have more gas). Since completing the 10 days of using the suppositories, my symptoms have been just as bad as before I started using them, or maybe even a little worse.
Hi . I am a 20 years old male and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 8 month ago. It is proctitis and i'm currently taking 6 tabs and 2 supps of mesalazine daily.. i want to use whey protein or amino acids tab for muscle buliding .. i have asked about it from 6 different doctors and all of them advised me not to use them.. but i realy dont understand why i cant take them.. is it safe to take homemade whey protein ? Why shouldnt i take whey supplement and how can it affect my disease?

I have to have a physical on Thursday. I was raped 8 years ago. I've been to a doctor once since then and my two friends were there with me all the way through. No one can go with me this time. I have to drive two hours to go do this. This is also something I HAVE to do in order to start my job which I REALLY need. I don't know how I'm supposed to handle this. Please help?! Any advice???
