Skin problems are normal side effects of treatment. Try using oatmeal based soaps and lotions. Rose seed oil is great for the face. IVirgin olive oil is good too.
In general, avoid scented products and use a gentel detergent in your wash.
Wearing natural fibers can help. I landed up cutting labels out of the backs of my shirts because they were driving me crazy.

Lamisil oral granules are used to treat a fungal infection of scalp hair follicles in children who are at least 4 years old. It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended. Lamisil granules should be sprinkled into a spoonful of pudding or mashed potatoes (do not mix with applesauce, fruit juice, or other acidic foods). The Lamisil granule mixture should be taken with a meal.
Did you try the Niacin with aspirin to reduce side effects taken at bedtime? Niacin can do wonders on the LDL especially when there may be a corkscrew like protein attached to it and no amount of statin, diet or lifestyle change will impact the LDL but Niacin will. It is referred to as LPa and can be done in some advanced lipid testing. That alone may change and further define what you need to be on.
If you are a patient person you will have no bad side-effects. Take your capsule each day and remove granules. Every day remove two more than the day before, until you are down to none. ( First you will remove 2, then 4..then 6..then 8 etc.) it will take awhile but it's worth it. If you feel comfortable with it you can do more than two a day. When you are counting out forty little granules you have to have patiece, but it works.
I'd been on 1 x 75mg of Venlafazine/Effexor XR a day for quite a few years. The initial need for taking them, no longer existed, so decided I'd been taking them for far longer than what I should have been, and wanted to have a bash at discontinuing.
But then if you can increase the no and quantity of melanin granules ,yes they can get retained.
WARNING !! I became absolutely suicidal on Cymbalta. Never has this been an issue for me. Check out Cymbalta Forums and read what others have written. Gather information to make an informed decision. It works wonders for some and I am very happy that it does. If you are not doing better in a week, see your doctor. This drug is VERY, VERY difficult to get off of. That alone, would make someone suicidal. It took two months to wean off of it.

For example if you have 250 granules on a 60mg Cymbalta capsules that means that about 4 granules represents 1 mg. This is just an example, I don't know how many granules you have in your capsules and I am assuming you are on 60 mg caspules. So, if you want a reduction of 5% you have to tak off 3mg from your 60mg capsules that would be more or less 12 granules. You can keep the granules that you are eliminating to make new doses. I know it is confusing but all is a matter of math.
Do the yellow granules have any negative effects? They go when lutein intake is reduced or drop?
I AM 18 YEARS OLD. MY PROBLEM IS THAT THROUGHOUT THE DAY MY HEART BEATS IN A FUNNY MANNER. LIKE THERE ARE 5 TO 6 REGULAR BEATS AND THEN THE NEXT BEAT COMES AFTER A SLIGHTLY LONGER PAUSE. I HAVE HAD ELECTRO AMD ECHOCARDIOGRAMS AND THEY BOTH WERE NORMAL. I GET VERY SCARED WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I GET PALPITATIONS. I AM THE KIND OF PERSON WHO PAYS A LOT OF ATTENTION TOWARDS THESE THINGS.IS THIS CONDITION DANGEROUS????
I was going to switch to an H2 blocker and if absolutely need be Prilosec as I have not had that side effect with this drug. Anyone know if I can just stop or should I be opening the capsule and removing some granules and such?

I literally have pockets full of brown/red sand-like granules instead of cheek flesh. And this happened virtually overnight. Exterior is semi dry. My skin has been super thick lately...all of a sudden its like velvet so i went to pop a black head and it tore and its full of granules that dissolve when they hit my hand.
The only symptoms I have are a burning sensation on pharynx and upper respiratory wall (usually in the morning when I wake up) and mucus production, also when flu would hit me these granules on the back would become inflamed and enlarged, once the flue is gone they cwould go back to their normal size. Now after a year and 4 months those granules are less colorful and none of them got bigger nor spread around the same goes for the lumps beneath my tonsils.
Before that, she was taking 150 mg for 5 years. She is 24. She tried to quit a year ago, when taking 150 mg, but the side effects terrified her and she is now in denial and would rather succumb to taking this horrid drug for the rest of her life. She has given up.
This is a tragedy, and one that the drug company needs to address. A class action law suit is fine, but that does not solve the problem of getting off of this drug.
I will do that it seems the higher dose has created this and I'm not on anything else.
Many AD's have side effects that affect the libido, guess it applies to both sex es. As far as I know all AD's have this drastic effect . Hopefully you'll find one that's OK for you . Good luck.

Hi. I am on week 60/72, second round of treatment. I was really really sick after shot for first few months and then this resolved and became tolerable at least. I now find that I am having these same significant side effects later in tx. This didn't happen last round, but I went 48 then. Anyone else have this happen?
