Avatar f tn Well I'm a stay at home mom. But when my bf gets paid we pay rent and whatever other bills we have then I take 100$ and hide it in our savings and it isn't allowed to be touched. Then whatever extra we spend. We're still working on it being our money haha because I still feel uncomfortable asking for money or just taking it and buying something. Its weird we live together and been together for 4 years its just weird to me.
539750 tn?1226521677 I spent an hour on the phone with the bank to see if they could reinstate our account while they do their investigation, this is obviously fraud – plus I couldn’t be in two places at once. I was using my debit card in San Diego, where I live will this criminal was using my card. That upsets me more then anything! The supervisor said they tried to call us, at an old number from six years ago.
Avatar f tn t mean to interrupt but I am actually a pharmacist and thought I could clarify the maxalt questions.... Maxalt is not a beta blocker. It is a 5HT1B receptor agonist. Basically it's a triptan drug that is used for vascular migraines. Vascular migraines cause vasodilation of blood vessels and that dilation causes pain. Triptan drugs cause vasoconstriction of those blood vessels and thus reduced the pain caused by pressure.

I know i am on their lumenos hsa plan (savings account). Avatar m tn She proclaims that she diluted and injected her migraine medicine (Maxalt) because she keeps throwing it up. Her symptoms, however, where those of an opiate overdose....blue hands and face, low respiration, eyes rolling backwards, staggering, tremoring arms upon waking up, disorientation, etc. Does anyone know what the side effects would be of injecting maxalt? I find this impossible to believe that it would knock her out and turn her blue.
Avatar f tn does either imitrex or maxalt contain caffeine? I was taking Maxalt for migraines and it worked great! Now my insurance has decided I need to try Imitrex before they will approve coverage for the Maxalt. The Imitrex took about 2 hours to have any effect, but eventually my headache subsided. Since then I have had recurring headaches for 4 days.
1974758 tn?1330821166 You can ask the pharmacist what your savings discount is over the phone, by simply supplying the information on front of the card. The free discount prescription drug card we distribute saves up to 75% (on average 25% on brand-name drugs and 65% on generics). It can be the difference between someone in need filling a prescription or doing without. These savings are based on the fact that we have over 58,000 pharmacies processing millions of prescriptions annually.
Avatar f tn My mothers debit card and credit card was stolen and the bank and the credit card company returned her money. It's worth a shot. Hit some yard sales or thrift stores to find some more couches. Most of the time good furniture can be found for very low prices. Remember, think positive. At least you have your boyfriend and your baby to comfort you. :) hope you get to feeling better.
173145 tn?1301700850 ) but who would ever think they would need to start saving for that! So...we ended up buying my meds w/ our savings (we didnt have much in savings, had just bought a new house) and we put the rest on a 0% interest for 1 yr credit card. Also, by PIF at our clinic they give a 5% discount (ck your clinic if they might offer something like that). Then my paycheck for the next year went to pay off that credit card (I was then planning on staying home after baby, so this got us prepped!
655875 tn?1295695107 My question is, are these rebound headaches from the Maxalt? I use the Maxalt no more then once to twice a week. This could also be sinus headaches too, I'm not 100% sure as I feel pressure in my head also. Is it okay to take the Maxalt 1-2 times a week? I also have a spinal cord nerve injury and I do take the long acting oxycontin every 8 hours for the pain.
172023 tn?1334672284 ------------- -The biggest savings is buying things with cash or a debit card. We never, ever violate this important rule. We do have one credit card with a zero balance, and it lives locked away in my locker at work, for emergencies such as vet bills. This saves a tremendous amount in charges that inevitably accompany using a credit card frequently. -We never let our bank balance get below $100-$200. This will help avoid overdraft fees.
Avatar n tn They have been increasing in quantity and severity until about a year and a half ago I had to stop working completely. I am on a combination of darvacet, tramadol, topomax and maxalt. The combination leaves me in bed about 18 hours a day. I have had two MRIs. One with contrast and one without. Neither shows any good reason for my pain. The headache never goes away and I have no idea what makes it hit so hard every few days (room blacked out and crawling to the bathroom). Am I the only one.
Avatar f tn Obama, who has the headache of stewarding the slowly mending US economy, said in a television interview that he was also teaching his daughters Malia, 12, and Sasha, nine, about savings, interest and money management. "What I'm doing now with Malia and Sasha is they're getting an allowance," Obama told ABC's "Good Morning America." "They're starting to get old enough where they may be able earn some money babysitting.
655875 tn?1295695107 My friend had called me and I told her that I was too sick to talk and that I had run out of my Maxalt. My friend is a life saver! When she got off of work, she picked up my Maxalt and brought it to me. She also brought me some hot dogs, chips and pop because I had nothing to eat in the house. Hubby left on Wednsday and took the kids up to the cabin, so I've been here alone. I thought that was extremely nice of my friend to go and do that for me.
Avatar f tn When I was having frequent migraines and my insurance would only pay for one refill of Maxalt each month, I obtained prescriptions for both Maxalt and Relpax and filled both each month. They worked equally well for me.
Avatar f tn I agree with teenmom. He may see this as his last chance to do a big trip with just the two of you. I dont think men sense things the way we do. I think women are more of the planners while men do things more "whatever". My husband is also the spontaneous one in our relationship. He is also the one that almost always says yes to our daughter when I'm the one that says no. Believe me, it is extremely frustrating.
702707 tn?1228703861 Continued............$550. So for them it dropped it like a hundred bucks. I honestly think that any pharmacy that gives you a big discount like that is probably highly overpriced to begin with. The places I go are pretty cheap and I've only gotten a discount of a few bucks. The place I currently go to gives me like a $3-$6 discount on 30 pills. When I went to Walmart they gave me $10 off. It depends on what you're buying, how much, and where.
Avatar f tn So my bf of 4 yrs and I are on our 2 baby. I'm 37w now and we were going to go to the store to buy some stuff for my baby shower on Saturday. And when we get to the store he says you better check the card balance and I said why I haven't spent anything we should have 200 on there. He said he tried to use it and it declined. Well guess what I checked and he had spent all of it with his friends the other day and didn't say crap. Mind you I'm the one working he don't.
1530342 tn?1405016490 Lasonia Christon receives her Wal-Mart salary on a pre-paid debit card. Kim James was homeless for most of the past decade in part because she had no place to save money. There are plenty of reasons people still live all-cash lives, but the sheer number who do it might surprise you.
Avatar f tn I also get migraines. have you paid attention to any of the known migraine "triggers" like red wiine & chocolate, hard cheeses etc. You probably have but I thought I'd mention it. Like the others, I take Maxalt for mine & it always works. Maxalt is from the migraine interrupter family & also includes imetrix & Zomig. Good luck - it sounds very difficult.
Avatar n tn i took 2 maxalt on saturday for a migraine, it didnt help at all, actually made it worse making me vomit for 3 days and today is friday, 6 days later and i still feel like, tired, weak, foggy, not hungry, cant really go to the bathroom even though i feel like i have to. is this gonna go away?
